DARLA: (indicating Liam, brawlin at a tavern) Who is *he*?

MAID: Who, that one?

(Angel takes a drink from his mug of ale and goes back to fighting.)

DARLA: Yes. He’s magnificent.

MAID: (sarcastic) Oh, yeah, God’s gift, alright.

DARLA: Really? I’ve never known God to be so generous.

MAID: Oh, his lies sound pretty when the stars are out. But he forgets every promise he’s made when the sun comes up again.

(Liam leers at her, and she smiles)

DARLA: That wouldn’t really be a problem for me actually.

(Liam starts walking towards Darla when someone brakes a bottle over his head. )
