(Gunn walks in, unseen by the Senator, but noticed by others who work in the office. One of the workers swings at Gunn, who ducks and punches back.)

SENATOR: (on the phone) The families are protected against pedophiles and other undesirables. Even the United States govern-

(Gunn then turns his attention to the Senator as he reaches to grab the axe from his back and hurls it at the Senator's head. It lands in the middle of her forehead, cutting off her conversation in mid-sentence. )

GUNN: (to the remaining vampires) Looks like you boys are gonna need to find a new candidate.

(the vampires encircle Gunn, growling)

GUNN: And you wonder why folks don't vote.

(the battle resumes)
