CORDELIA: (waking up) Wilson?(looks at alarm clock) Uh-oh, somebody is going to be late for work.

(She pulls back covers and sees that her stomach looks very pregnant.)

(Outside Cordelia's apartment)

ANGEL: What time is it?"

WESLEY: Quarter past noon.

ANGEL: I left two messages. She should have called back. (pounding on door) Cordelia!

WESLEY: Maybe she unplugged her phone. Or she slept somewhere else. Well, I guess we should... (Angel opens door) break down her door and trespass.

ANGEL: Cordelia? (to Wesley) I'm getting a bad feeling here.

WESLEY: I thought it was just me.

ANGEL: This isn't like her.

WESLEY: Avoiding her responsibilities? Lately it seems quite like her. I'm sure it'll all work out once we...(Angel opens door to Cordelia's bedroom) Mother of God.

CORDELIA: Angel?

ANGEL: It's alright. We're here.

CORDELIA: I'm ready to wake up now. I - I don't seem to be - waking up. - Help me.

ANGEL: We're going to. What happened? What do you remember?

CORDELIA: We went to the club. And Wilson and I just sort of hid out on this couch and we talked and talked and then he drove me home and I asked him in. - He was really nice. And we, ah, - you know? - It was normal. He was normal and it was safe, and it was - it was all really safe!

ANGEL: Shh, shh. It's okay. Have you talked to Wilson?

CORDELIA: No. I haven't talked to anyone. What would I say to him? 'I had a really great time. I think you left something at my place'? I don't think this is right.

ANGEL: What ever is happening to you, he may have some answers.

CORDELIA: I can't.

ANGEL: Just dial his number and I'll talk to him.

CORDELIA: Oh, God. I'm being punished.

WESLEY: You're certainly not being punished. This is... We'll get to the bottom of it.

RECORDING: The number you have reached has been disconnected, there is no new number at this time.

ANGEL: He's not answering right now. I want you to rest, and we're going to handle this. Hey! You're not alone.

CORDELIA: That's sort of the problem, isn't it? Could you - just leave me alone for now?

ANGEL: We're going to be right outside.
