(with great effort Spike, limps down the hall towards the elevator. )

DEMON: Here!

(The doors close before he can get to it)

SPIKE: Oh, god.

(He pries open the door and tumbles down untop of the descending car, then opens the access hatch and tumbles down into it)

(Lobby. The demons have assembled, and wait for the elevator to open, revealing Spike slumped on the floor. Seeing the demon, he gets slowly to his feet.)

MURK: You do not insult Glory by escaping.

(Spike scowls at them, tries to pull himself together for another attack. The front door opens and Buffy and Xander enter, carrying crossbows.)

MURK: Slayer!

(Spike closes his eyes in relief and falls back against the elevator wall as the fight breaks out without him. Buffy and Xander fight for a while, and then Giles & Buffybot arrive.)

GILES: Buffy, we're here.

BUFFYBOT: Spike! Spike's in there!

(the fight continues. Giles is pinned by a demon with a crossbow to his throat)

GILES: Buffy!

(The Buffy Bot whirls around. The real Buffy whirls around. The Buffybot scuffles with the demon, who sends her flying into the elevator control panel, shorting her out. Buffy finishes the job. Jinx and Murk run for the stairs. Buffy watches them go. )
