Angel to Wes: I'll never forgive you, never... You're a dead man, Pryce! You hear me? Dead!
from Forgiving (Season 3)

(Fred & Gunn meet Angel outside Wes' hospital room)

GUNN: It's good you came, man.

ANGEL: He ask for me?

GUNN: Naw, he can't speak yet. Trachea's all messed up. Lost a lot of blood. It's just good you came.

FRED: He's not completely out of the woods yet. You being here can only help.

ANGEL: Can I see him?

FRED: I'm sure he'd like that.

(Gunn and Fred hang back as Angel steps into the room. Wes is bandaged and hooked up to a lot of machinery. His yes open when Angel approaches, but he doesn't react.)

ANGEL: (quietly) Hey, Wes... I just... I want you to know I understand why you did it. I know about the prophecies and I know how hard it must have been for you to... do what you did. You thought I was going to turn evil and kill my son. I didn't turn into Angelus. It's important to me that you know that. This isn't Angelus talking to you, it's me, Angel. You know that, right?

(Wesley registers comprehension)

ANGEL: Good. That's good.

(suddenly Angel is smothering Wes with a pillow, his face a mask of rage. Outside, Fred & Gunn are happy that Angel's reconciling with Wes. Until they see staff rushing towards Wes' room, summoned by the monitoring equipment)

FRED: Angel!

(Gunn and the two big male nurses try to pull Angel off Wes.)

FRED: STOP IT!

ANGEL: You took my son! YOU TOOK MY SON!

(Finally they manage to pull him off, but he's still struggling and screaming)

ANGEL: I'll never forgive you, never... I'LL KILL YOU!!

(Gunn and the Orderlies drag Angel out of the room. Fred is screaming and crying. Outside, Angel is still yelling)

ANGEL: You're a dead man, Pryce. YOU HEAR ME?!?! DEAD!

(Wes struggles to breathe)
