Quick Review:
A quality episode and one of my favorites for the season. We get proof positive that it's the beginning of the end for Buffy & Riley, our first clue that Joyce is not well and that Dawn may not be who she seems, and a jaw dropping final act that sets up the fascinating Spike lurvangst arc that will weave itself through out the rest of the season. A pivotal ep that sets up much of what is to come...
Memorable Moments:
- Buffy getting frustrated when both Riley & Spike try to horn in on her slaying.
- Harmony thinking Buffy takes her seriously enough to be hunting her down and coming to Spike desperate for sanctuary.
- An exasperated Spike proving himself a 20 questions genius for guessing "breadbox" when playing with Harmony.
- Riley admitting to Buffy that he doesn't feel worthy of her after she's hunted him down to force him to seek medical attention.
- Graham's sniping at Riley about making his life's mission to be Buffy's perfect boyfriend.
- Spike's dreaming that his challenge to Buffy to stake him ends in a torrid kiss and declarations of love & desire and his reaction upon awaking.
