Plot Highlights:

Buffy goes to Xander's, finds Spike's out. Willow finds Dawn in the livingroom wreckage. Spike comes home to find Xander & Buffy. Anya protests being asked to Spike-sit. Willow fills Buffy in. Anya, caught snooping, attempts to seduce/distract Spike. Spike goes on the prowl, but Buffy loses him in the crowd. Buffy confronts Spike. Scoobies research. Xander tries to stop Spike from leaving. Spike investigates his own doings at the Bronze, has a run in with a vamp who claims he's her sire. Buffy chats with a bouncer. Spike asks Buffy to meet him. MorphySpike triggers Spike and he and an army of newborn vamps attack Buffy. Buffy spares Spike. Scoobies debrief. Giles is attacked.
Memorable Moments:

Anya protesting being assigned to watch Spike, her interactions with Xander, especially her "if I get vamped, I'm gonna bite your ass" and Xander's half-heard retort.
Anya deciding to seduce Spike to distract him from the fact that he's just caught her snooping through his things. Her quickness to take offense when he turns her down.
Spike protesting his innocence when Buffy accuses him of being "back on the juice".
Buffy chatting to the Bouncer about a certain "sallow but in a hot way" not-her-boyfriend-guy; Spike's phone-call to her as he starts to realize what he's done.
The entire basement scene, starting with yet another scene of Buffy up at the top of some stairs with Spike at the bottom, through the vampire melée to the final touching Spike/Buffy interaction over in the corner.
Giles being attacked, with the episode cutting to credits without letting us see how (if?) he escapes.

NOTES ON EPISODE ART: CREATED 12/2002 ~I'm not 100% satisifed with this one, but as frequently is the case, I'm tired of messing with it, and I'm not dissatisified enough to warrent keeping it to myself, so up it goes. I do really like the sweep starting with "spike coming down stairs", arcing around to "spike profile" , "Spike cowering in a corner" and ending with "First Evil Masquerading as Spike". And I like the Buffy image, with the brick arc behind her. It's the middle part and the Spike image I'm a little iffy about. The problem was mainly Buffy's bright sweater, which I had a difficult time getting to blend with all the other dark images where it was cut off. So I put that line there and tried to echo it elsewhere so it didn't look too out-of-place. I liked the expression in the Spike cap, thought it went well with the Buffy one, but I think it was a tad to small to stretch up to the size I had to to get it balance with Buffy. Couldn't find any I liked better though, so I'm sticking with it...
