Angel endures slavery as a demon gladiator.Plot Highlights:
demon database. a new case: Darin's brother Jack is missing. Angel pumps Eddie the Bookie and fights Howler demons for info. It's a trap! Angel becomes a slave gladiator. Cordy is worried, Wesley goes looking for answers. Angel tries to pull a Ghandi. Cordelia & Wes inflitrate the arena. Angel grabs brother Jack, but Darin doesn't care. Lilah tries to buy Angel. Wesley forges a key. Angel enters the ring again. Cribb steals the key from Wes, frees the demon gladiators. Angel limps home.
Memorable Moments:
- Cordy & Wes bickering.
- Wes amuses, and then intimidates, a bunch of thugs with his unexpected competence.
- Wes backslides into the ridiculous with a comment about "the man" as Cordelia coolly bluffs her way into the arena.
- Lilah tries to get Angel to join her team (there's not one reason we can't work together)
- Trepkos deciding not to kill Angel; Cribb helping Angel, but still insulting him left and right. Angel averring he could have taken Trepkos, wobbly knees notwithstanding.
