Plot Highlights:

Giles binds Willow. While he chats with Buffy, Willow makes Anya free her. Dawn snarks at Xander, he tells her about Spike. Spike finishes one test, then beetles attack him. Willow fights Giles, sends a fireball after Jonathan & Andrew. Buffy saves J&A, but falls into a pit with Dawn. Willow sucks Giles's energy, decides to destroy the world to end its pain. Anya finds Giles in the rubble. Dawn & Buffy argue, Anya teleports in with an update. Willow sics earth-monsters on Buffy & Dawn. Xander faces down Willow, gets her to stop. Spike gets a soul.

NOTES ON EPISODE ART: CREATED 07/2002 ~I wanted to make Xander/Willow the focus of this collage, but since this was also the final episode of the season, I wanted to include the other threads that came together during that last musical-montage too. (Spike just didn't fit in with all the bright daylight caps, so I left him out altogether) I started out with the placement more or less as you see, but without the lines, but it seem kinda blah, so I started dividing it up and coloring things differently -- seemed appropriate since the characters themselves were not all in the same physical location for the big finale.
