Season: Episode 21 of Season 1
Original Air Date: 05/16/2000
Written by: Jeannine Renshaw
Directed by: Thomas J. Wright

Notes:
Lindsey gets Angel to help stop Wolfram & Hart's plan to kill three blind, yet very gifted children.

Plot Highlights:

Angel sees an apparently blind woman kill a man. She then fights him well, as if extra-sensorily able to see him. Cordelia and Wesley are in perfect synch research-wise. Lindsey defends the blind woman in court, Angel tries to swerve the verdict. Wolfram & Hart's pro-bono defense reveals much. Lee acts snarky towards Lindsey. Lindsey's boss speechifies, vaguely threatens, and hands him a new assignment. A hung jury and acquittal. Angel chafes at having to play by W & H's rules, but admires their system, missing the clarity and guiltlessness of such an approach. Lindsey has a guilty panick, goes to Angel for help in thwarting W & H's plan to kill the children. Angel senses fear, trickery, and insincerity. Lindsey has a run-in with Lilah. Angel, Gunn, and Lindsey pull off a break-in a W & H. Angel steals the relevant documents, plus an extra document. Lilah misses her lunch date as W & H line up the lawyers for a random mind-reading and employee termination. Lee is misread. Lindsey is found out but gets a second chance. Willow decrypts the files over the phone. Wesley figures out the game. Angel kicks some ass and saves some kids. Wesley informs Angel that the extra document contains a prophecy about a vampire with a soul. Lindsey gets a raise.

NOTES ON EPISODE ART: CREATED 12/2003 ~I finally got myself a DVD drive, and after installing it last night, had to celebrate by making caps, naturally. I was already up through 1.20 with the Angel episode collages, so I thought I'd make the choosing what to do first a litte less overwhelming by just going with "next project in line", which worked out quite nicely given that 1.21 was our first big Lindsey episode. I departed a little bit from the standard format I've been doing for the season 1 collages, but not by too much. I just left out the grunge brush texture I've been using and added a little braille for texture instead; seemed apropos what with the blind assasin and the blind children...
