<Episode 90: Just Rewards (Angel, the Series)>

Angel is haunted. By Spike.

Plot Highlights:

Spike appears in Angel's office. to the Lab for poking and prodding. Angel accidently kills his 3 o'clock appointment. Angel orders Novak to drop Magnus Hainsley as a client. Spike decides to get out of LA. Angel & Wes discuss Spike's transformation; Spike finds he can't leave. Novak returns, in buckets. Gunn has a plan. Spike meets Angel in his garage. Angel & Spike meet Hainsley's butler, see his parlor/display room. Angel fights Hainsley's butler, tells Hainsley Gunn is freezing his assets. Hainsley makes a deal with Spike. Wesley tells Angel Spike can be released (die) by smashing the amulet, Spike overhears. Spike pays a midnight visit to Angel, asks him to send him off. In the graveyard, Spike doublecrosses him & Hainsley appears, captures Angel. Spike doublecrosses Hainsley, helps Angel kill him. Spike goes to Fred and asks for help.

Memorable Moments:

• Spike letting slip things about himself that Angel kept from the gang, like saving the world and getting a soul. Angel trying to play them off as not-a-big-deal.
• Harmony's reactions to Spike (when he first shows up, when she offers to be there if he wants to talk, when she slams about saying "leopards can't change their stripes")
• Spike warming up to the idea of haunting Angel and driving him crazy.
• Angel's tirade about it not being fair that Spike spent 3 weeks moaning in a basement, and then was fine; his frustrated grunt when Spike dissappears.
• Spike overhearing as the A-team discuss the possibility of sending him off to the great beyond.
• Spike's midnight visit to Angel & last words at the cemetary.
• Spike doublecrossing Hainsley and helping Angel to defeat him.
• Spike, terrified of slipping into hell, turning to Fred for help.
