Notes: Buffy must return the box of Gavrock to the Mayor in exchange for Willow's life. Plot Highlights: The Mayor presents Faith with a knife. The scoobies debates post high-school options; Buffy wants to leave Sunnydale. Buffy & Angel steal the box of Gavrock, but Willow is captured. Willow gets loose & does some reading before being re-captured. Wesley's arguments are overruled, and a trade with the Mayor is arranged. The Major lectures Buffy & Angel on their relationship. Snyder interferes & some Gavrock spiders get out. Faith saves Wesley, but leaves with the Mayor. Willow decides to go to UC Sunnydale.

NOTES ON EPISODE ART: CREATED 03/2003 ~Faith & her knife and Willow sneaking a peek at the books of ascention were the first images that really grabbed me for this one. I also liked the nice visual reminder that the plot of this episode was kept rolling around by ownership of the Box of Gavrok provided by the image of the box. The rest evolved from there. This was another one of those ones for which the layout gave me trouble, and I had all the composite images completely rearranged 3 or 4 times before I felt it was balanced enough. So lots of zooming way out so that it was just a tiny thumbnail, or walking way away from the monitor and squinting, trying to see if the weight was distributing well. Which btw, I recommend to anyone who hasn't it tried it; something about shrinking things down really helps determine if the arrangment is working...
