Re-demonized Anya returns to Sunnydale, intent on using the power of the Wish on Xander.
Plot Highlights:

The trio chase vamps on ATVs. Spike & Buffy chat while Buffy slays the vamps. Willow & Tara chat after class. Buffy & Dawn spend quality time at the mall. Warren & Andrew plot against Jonathan. Xander flubs his first post-wedding meeting with Anya. Halfrek counsels Anya. Dawn wants to patrol with Buffy. Tara & Willow have coffee. Anya tries to provoke an anti-Xander wish from his friends. Xander finds a vidcam, thinks it's Spike's. Buffy confronts Spike about it. Halfrek counsels Anya to find a Xander-hater to make her wish. Anya gets Spike drunk, and they have solace-sex, observed by the Trio's cam and by the Scoobies thanks to Willow's computer hacking. Dawn realizes why Buffy's upset, they chat. Xander pounds on Spike, till Anya & Buffy stop him; Buffy's secret slips out. Tara returns to Willow.
Memorable Moments:

Anya & Xander's first post-wedding encounter with all its palpable emotion.
The hilarious quick cutting between Anya's various attempts to extract a vengeance wish from Xander's friends. Bonus points for Buffy's "and what the hell is that creepy little thing doing in my yard? Did Willow put that there when I was dead? 'Cause if I had known, I would have crawled out of the grave sooner..." re the lawn gnome.
Buffy telling Spike that she believes it's real, for him at least.
Spike & Anya's descent into tipsy vulnerability over their respective love troubles and a bottle of Jack Daniels.
Warren, Andrew & Jonathan's mesmerized and admiring reaction to spotting Anya & Spike on the vidcam, especially Andrew's "Spike is *so* cool... And, I mean, the girl is hot too"

NOTES ON EPISODE ART: CREATED 06/2002 ~Why do I have the urge to start humming "I'm back... I'm back in the saddle again"? oh yeah, because I haven't added new art to this site in F O R E V E R. Ah well, hopefully the new piece will make up for it, I'm rather pleased with how it came out. I credit inspiration to Kim (XFilesEffects) for the overlaid outlines and horizontal screen lines and Marina (Deuce) for the idea of bending a rectangle until it looks like a TV monitor and sticking images on it, both of which seemed apropos for this episode. I also used the motion-blur filter, selectively masked, to blend the images together and give it some motion. The coloring for the non-monitor portion of the collage was actually done in a sort of novel way for me; I did a control-alt-~ to select a luminosity mask, and then rather than fill it like I do a lot for making sepia-tones, I selected "stroke" on a new layer instead. Played with the layer blending options (think I finally went with "soft light", can't remember) until I got what you see.
