Angel learns that Darla is dying, and tries to give Darla the choice/chance to live he feels she never had.Plot Highlights:
Cordelia and Wesley worry about Angel's interest in Darla. Darla learns from Holland that she is dying. In France 1765, Angelus and Darla are trapped in a barn when Holtz tracks them down. In the present, Darla tries to get herself vamped in an alley. When she tells Angel she's going to die, he brings her to the Hyperion and goes to read Lindsey's medical reports. Then he takes Darla to Caritas to sing for Lorne. At Lorne's suggestion, he goes to endure trials on her behalf, and wins for her a second chance, but then she cannot claim it because she has already had one when Wolfram & Hart brought her back. Finally, Angel offers to turn her, and she won't let him. And Lindsey brings Drusilla in to vamp Darla against her will a second time.
