Summary

A fantastic episode that finally sees Eliza and Alyson acting rings around everyone else. One of the main regrets of third season, is that these two brilliant talents didn't have more screen time together. The acting is phenomenal.

Wanting desperately to be more than a Slayer, Buffy has the bright idea of a pre-emptive strike against the Mayor and Faith so she can go to University at NorthWestern. Naturally, things don't go according to plan when Willow gets herself captured by Faith.

Story Line

Pre credits open with Faith and the Mayor. She's sitting in the Mayor's chair, eyes closed as instructed, to receive a present. When she opens her eyes, she sees a gift wrapped rectangle box in front of her. He then tells Faith that she has to go to the airport and pick up a box. Breakdown

At this point, it seems Faith has well and truly 'crossed over to the dark side'. As stated in the Enemies breakdown though, she's not on the Mayor's side for 'evil' sake. She's on his side because in her eyes, he's the only one that cares for her.
