Summary
This is probably the most important episode regarding Faith pre-mayor.
It is pivotal to the breaking-down of the relationship between Faith and Buffy, not to mention how it completely destroys Faith's trust in anyone. Revelations is also the episode when everyone else finds out Angel is back.
Our two slayers are having a fine time doing their job, with an almost laid back Giles occasionally glancing up from his books to see how they're doing. The girls are just through congratulating themselves when Mrs. Gwendolyn Post arrives on the scene announcing she's Faith's new watcher. Further on in, an astounded Xander sees Angel and runs back to tell Giles. But not all is as it seems.
Mrs. Post tells our heroes that a demon named Lagos is in town and he's looking for the Glove of Myhnegon. He must be stopped and the glove destroyed.
Story LineThis Faith vehicle opens at the Bronze where we see the Scooby Gang discussing if Buffy is seeing someone. Enter Buffy who asks what they were talking about. She replies she is seeing someone "tonight in fact." Enter Faith. Clearly the two Slayers have come along leaps and bounds since Faith, Hope and Trick. BreakdownThis episode is a powerhouse of emotion. It's 99% Faith driven - and it's all about ripping down the trust and friendship between Faith and everyone she knows. In this episode we see just how good things are going for Faith. She and Buffy are going great guns friendship-wise.
