- Bottom to Top: The BUFFY Episode Countdown
Me love countdown long time.
Spike is being brainwashed by the First into siring a bunch of vampires. Buffy tails
him. It's kind of like that through the whole episode until the end. Although there is
that funny little scene at Xander's apartment with Spike and Anya. I really have nothing funny
to say about this. Huh, that can't be good for the rest of the countdown.
Oh, this makes it easier. Riley leaves. Now I know what you're thinking: "Why isn't this higher up
on the list?" And my answer would be, "I have no flippin' clue". It should be higher up just for the
fact that Riley helicopters off to Central America. Not to mention the ending where Xander is all
speechifying to Buffy and then to Anya. And we remember why Xander is the man. There was a period there
where we couldn't be too sure, considering we barely saw him for about 2 years. Oh yeah, and did I mention,
RILEY LEAVES?!!?!!
Ok, so I liked this episode because I like chase scenes, but it goes down in value with the "worst stunt work
ever" award. The scene where the horses catch up to the RV (which in itself is ridiculous). You can pretty much
point out Sarah's stunt double every time there's a cut. "Stunt double! Sarah! Stunt Double! Sarah!" etc...you
get my point. Then we see towards the end of the episode that Willow has gotten considerably more powerful as
a witch. Which is cool....WHICH...WITCH....HA! Well, at least I amuse myself.
Meet Billy Fordham. Don't get too attached to him, because he'll be dead in 44 minutes. Buffy's old pal
from L.A moves to Sunnydale to become a vampire so that he won't die from Brain Cancer. It kind of
backfired....and when I say kind of, I mean completely.
I love the stuff with Willow inside Buffy's brain, but the Glory/Ben/Glory/Ben argument scene in the alley
feels like it takes FOREVER. Time that could've been spent showing something else. They seriously could've
cut about 5 minutes off that scene easily, and we still would've got the gist of it. "You talk funny", "Yes. As you'll tell me again when we're older and in
chem class." For some sad reason, I laugh at that everytime. Anybody have a life I could borrow?
Barabra: that's a good stori but you need some actinnes like Spke and Buffy having sex together. Atalanta: Weight of the World is ok, nothing special. Spiral.. good bits but not that great overall. Though I love the name given to the Knights by SFX magazine, 'the knights who say key'.. UnpluggedCrazy: I think that Weight of the World is one of the more underrated episodes of Buffy, and I dig Spiral for the same reason you do...the chase scene. Horsies! Brodie_182: update now hurry BTVS_LUVOR: I don't think that "lie to me" is all crap. I think it's deppley moving and sad how he is afraid of dieing. And then when that feeling does eventauly ware off it does turn into a small pile of crap. my_angel: spiral is a very good ep! sleeper sucks though Buffy_Manaic: Yeah and I also agree with The_First when it says that Riley leavs and that noone should feel sorry for his sorry ass. Into the woods was kinda crappy. Although the whole Buffy and Riley relatioshoip thing was good Buffy_Manaic: You should've out the "gift" in every count down. Its such a sad epi.
