Eliza Patricia Dushku
Born on December 30th 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was
brought up a Mormon and surrounded by three brothers admits to being a
bit of a tomboy. After graduating from high school Eliza auditioned for
a part in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and won the part for the other slayer
Faith. She got the role in 1998 and originally it was only meant to be a
short stint but due to the popularity of her character she returned a
year later.
Eliza started her film career at the age of 12 in a film called That
Night and has since worked with actors such as Robert de Niro,
Leornado DiCarprio and Arnold Schwarzeneggar. Eliza's mother is a
professor at Suffolk University and was legally emancipated from her
parents because of strict laws on the hours that a minor is allowed to
work. She also signs for the deaf at the Watertown Children's Theatre in
Boston.
Eliza will now be starring in her own TV series, Tru Calling.
Faith
Faith breezed into being a slayer when previous slayer Kendra
was killed by Drusilla. She came to Sunnydale seeking the first slayer,
Buffy. But also running from a vampire, Kakistos, who killed her
Watcher. She was an enthusiastic slayer but often got carried away with
her job. Differences were seen between the two slayers and Faith's over
enthusiasm could have led to her killing Deputy Mayor Finch by mistake.
She covered up the murder and tried to blame Buffy for it and leave
town. She was coaxed back by Buffy but really she was working against
the slayer and the rest of the gang. One night Faith poisoned Angel
thinking that there was no cure for the poison, but there was one, blood
of a slayer. Buffy attempted to kill Faith and then make Angel drink off
her but Buffy killed Faith and Faith launched herself on a passing truck
leaving Buffy with no body. Faith remained in her coma for a year after
which she suddenly woke up and wreaked revenge on Buffy and then fled to
LA where she bumped in Wolfram & Hart and Angel. Wolfram & Hart
wanted her to take out Angel, but Faith had other plans, she wanted him
to kill her. Buffy found out where Faith was and went after her, Faith
eventually gave herself up to the police, and now she's currently in a
prison near LA.
Faith was freed from prison by a jail break, created by Wesley. She was
needed to help kill The Beast and bring down Angelus. Which she did, in
her mind when both Angel and her were in a coma. From there Faith headed
to Sunnydale, where it appeared he was needed. In Sunnydale she helped
Buffy with the final battle to save Sunnydale and destroy the hellmouth.
Also there, she found a new love interest, Robin M. Wood. Who first, it
appeared, was only going to be a one night stand, but then proved to be
more than meets the eye.
