A Demon Named Lorne The single most intriguing gay character on television right now is green, has horns, can survive when beheaded and loves singing showtunes.
Seth on Scooby Doo Actor Seth Green, who played teen wolf Oz over three seasons of Buffy has been talking up his latest film role.
Seth on Scooby Doo 2 You never quite know what to expect from Seth Green. He could be the quiet guy like Oz on Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, or he could be a wisecracking gen-Xer like in Austin Powers or Can’t Hardly Wait. He’s more of the Oz variety in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
Underneath Promo/Behind the Scenes Images New promotional and behind the scenes images of upcoming Angel episode Underneath have been added to the gallery right here. Big spoilers in them as usual, so careful.
David Boreanaz is hot. Plus, four other reasons not to cancel Angel What was the WB thinking? Less than 10 years after the formation of the network, it has managed to shatter every cornerstone it was built on, antagonizing its fans along the way. First was Roswell, then Buffy the Vampire Slayer, followed by Dawson's Creek. Now, the WB has announced it is canceling one of the last pieces of its foundation, Joss Whedon's Angel.
Angel/Firefly Vet Minear Pleads Fuck Thursday’s “Apprentice”! Despite what TV Guide says, Fox is repeating the completely fucking brilliant “Wonderfalls” pilot Thursday at 9 p.m., and running its even better second episode Friday at 9 p.m. Tape these episodes!! Force your friends to watch them at gunpoint before it’s too late!
TV Just Doesn't Nurture Anymore It’s one step back but two steps forward for fans of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator Joss Whedon. “Buffy”-spinoff “Angel” was unjustly canceled by the WB late last month in a move that left fans, this one included, outraged. However, Whedon’s short-lived Fox series “Firefly,” which idiot network execs canned after only 10 weeks, will be reborn on the big screen as a feature film spinoff. |

Sarah Balks at Scooby 3 Although Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed looks set to improve upon the original movie, the future of the franchise may be in doubt.

Big ol' ad in Variety today (yay!), rally on Friday at the WB camp (yay!), a win from this year's Save One Show (SOS) campaign (85 percent of the votes!), flowers and candy bars to the higher-ups...the momentum just keeps building! Honestly, every day I'm more and more hopeful, though, sadly, I haven't heard any concrete good news as of yet. The rumor is they're now approaching Fox. SMG in The Grudge Sarah Michelle Gellar has been keeping herself busy since Buffy ended last year. She'll soon return as Daphne in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, released in the UK on April 2nd, and is currently in Japan filming horror movie The Grudge.
The Grudge Some on set footage of the movie, starring our own Buffy, Sarah M. Gellar.
Buffy as a Role Model Let's be clear about this. Buffy is a great TV show. It may even be one that lasts down the ages, and not just because an age is now defined by the MTV generation in terms of picoseconds. It's fast, it's funny, it brought Wicca lesbians into homes from Poughkeepsie to Peoria, and it gave gainful employment to David Boreanaz, despite the fact that at some point in the late 90s his neck became disconcertingly thicker than his head.
Make-over artist: Nicholas Brendon goes for laughs in `Celeste in the City' Nicholas Brendon is as funny and flippant as the character he played for seven years on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When asked in a recent telephone interview about his role in the upcoming ABC Family movie `Celeste in the City'' (airing Sunday at 8 p.m.), he said, `I wanted to play Celeste, but they said, `No, you still look like a dude.' |
