Morena Baccarin News |
Off Broadway Baby This is a scene from writer-director Dan Kay's movie Way Off Broadway, a festival favorite focusing on five fresh-out-of-college artists and their struggles in New York City. It's also a scenario that's painfully familiar to aspiring actors everywhere. Morena Baccarin, the twentysomething actor who portrays Rebecca, can sympathize as well as anyone else. |

Joss Whedon News |
Does Wonderwoman Hail from Orange County? According to a report in today's Herald Sun, Brandon Davis's hot-water bottle, Mischa Barton, is another on Warner's "Wonder Woman" wish-list. The hot little thespian - who, well, admit it, could be a snug fit for that "Wonder" Bra - is carving out a bit of a film career for herself, thanks to her popular stint on FOX's "The OC".
Wonderwoman Role Not for Pals, Says Director Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon has ruled out the possibility of Sarah Michelle Gellar donning Wonder Woman's outfit for his upcoming movie adaptation, after insisting the film won't be a project for his pals. Gellar and former Buffy castmate Charisma Carpenter were among those rumoured to be playing Princess Diana in a new film version of the comic book superheroine, but director Whedon insists he's looking for a new face. |

Marti Noxon News |
Marti Confirms Ppint Pleasant's Cancellation Well, it's all true. We're cancelled and we're off for good. No new ep on Thursday... In a way I'm glad because Thursday's episode didn't quite come together the way I would have liked and I would have hated for that to be our final word. Eps 9-12 were going to be pretty cool, though. Lots of twists and scary stuff. |
