Serenity News |
Early Review of Serenity The theatre was smaller than we expected. The lights went down, and Joss Whedon appeared on the screen, causing everyone to start cheering. He spoke for several minutes – basically saying that this movie would never have been made except for the fans and thanking us. He was funny, and urged everyone to keep spreading the word. (Spoilers in the article).

Serenity Comic Book News |
Whedon Drafts Graphic Bridge to Serenity One of the problems with transferring a little-watched television show to the big screen is that the multitudes who missed the show may be confused. Another problem, apparently, is that the fans of the show may be confused by the things that happened between when a television network abandoned the characters and a movie studio picked them up. |

Serenity News |
Finding Serenity There was a rumor going around this week that Adam Hughes would be providing the art on a Serenity OGN with Joss Whedon. However, that turned out to be a slight misunderstanding of the original announcement. It turns out that Hughes is only doing the cover for the Serenity trade paperback, which will collect the first miniseries from Dark Horse. |

Nicholas Brendon News |
Nicky's New Movie Gets Reviewed AICN have posted a review of Nicholas Brendon's new movie, Unholy. Looks like it could be a hit: I thought it would be fitting to send this review in to go a long with your quarter of a screen Buffy "Xander Harris" figurine add on your sidebar.(And also your previous article following the filmmakers on this film). I'm friends(with benefits, of course) with the BLEEP on the horror/thriller UNHOLY starring Adrienne Barbeau and Nicholas Brendon, and he/she invited me to a screening at the editor's screening room today in NYC. |

Marc Blucas News |
Beyond the Slimy Wall: They A review of They, starring Marc Blucas: The picture of a sunny, well-adjusted young adult, Julie (presumably) has a stable job, a decidedly stable boyfriend Paul (human blank Marc Blucas, who manages another remarkably chemistry-free screen romance), two slightly kooky-but-not-too-weird roommates and apparently not a care in the world. Which in horror-film terms, much like in soap operas, means her life is about to be ripped to shreds. |

David Greenwalt News |
Miracles: The Complete Series Going in to this series I was excited. I didn't know too much about Miracles, but I knew enough to pique my interest. I had heard that it was a paranormal detective/fantasy show in the vein of The X-Files which, during its short run in 2003, had managed to establish a sizable cult following. That's all good stuff in my book. |

Serenity News |
Dark Horse & Whedon Bring Serenity to Comic Fans Dark Horse Comics and Joss Whedon plan to give fans a comic book mini-series that serves as a bridge between his television series Firefly and his upcoming Universal Pictures feature film Serenity.
Waiting for Serenity In case you’re not versed in “Firefly” lore, it’s the gritty tale (over about 14 episodes) about hardened spaceship captain Mal Reynolds, who fought on the losing side of the Galactic civil war. Now he ekes out a living taking aboard passengers and pulling off small-time crimes with the help of his motley but loyal crew. The film version, which is set six months after the end of the TV series timeline, will focus on the young doctor and his telepathic sister who were taken aboard during the pilot episode. |
