Marc Blucas
Marc was born on January 11th 1972 in Girad, Pennsylvania. Marc
graduated Girard High School in 1990. Marc played basketball throughout
high school and his senior year. Because of his athletic ability, Marc
went on full scholarship to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem
North Carolina. After college, he played one year in Europe for the
Manchester Giants. After this he went back to the States looking to get
a law degree, but after joining a small theatre company he knew he
wanted to do acting. A small part in the Whoopi Goldberg movie,
"Eddie," was Marc's first shot at acting on the big screen.
And others soon followed. It was on the set of "Pleasantville"
that Marc found his true passion for the art and fell in love with the
industry.
Then came Marc's big break, by getting the role to play Buffy's beau,
Riley Finn, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After just over a year on the
show Marc left BtVS. Following his success on BtVS, Marc soon began to
get substantial movie roles including parts in "Summer Catch"
with Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Matthew Lillard, Mel Gibson's, "We
Were Soldiers," and "A View From the Top" with Gwyneth
Paltrow. |

Riley Finn
Riley was born in Iowa, and was raised in a small town called
Huxley in Iowa. He used to be a TA at UC Sunnydale helping out Professor
Walsh, who taught psychology. But also as a side thing he was also a
demon hunter for a government organisation called The Initiative. There
they were fed drugs in their food to make them stronger and many weird
experiments took place on the captured demons and vampires.
Unfortunately Riley was subjected to a little experimentation himself
when he found out that Maggie Walsh had implanted a chip in him, which
was activated by human/demon/robot hybrid Adam. The chip was removed successfully
but Riley's had a couple of relapses. While at UC Sunnydale he fell in
love with freshman student Buffy Summers. Neither of them knew of each
other's secrets, but when they found out Buffy didn't think that she
could have a relationship with him, but he convinced her otherwise.
When The Initiative was "taken down" Riley found himself
wondering what to do. And with Buffy not being quite there with him
anymore, he was asked if he would like to join another government
organisation, not The Initiative. After giving Buffy an ultimatum on
whether she would take him back after letting vampire feed off him, she
initially said no, then changed her mind and it was too late, Riley was
gone. He returned a year later, but with a wife called Sam. As soon as
he came he was gone again.
