------------------- Nicholas Brendon/Xander

Nicholas Brendon
Nicholas was born on the 12th of April 1971 in Los Angeles,
California. Nicholas Brendon, who portrays the sardonic
"Xander" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer with sensitivity and
humor, turned to acting when his aspirations of playing pro baseball
were squelched by a serious arm injury.
Nicholas first appeared on television in a handful of commercials and
series guest spots. Feeling slightly disenchanted with Hollywood, he
took a personal hiatus to play the "real life" roles of
medical student, production assistant, plumber's assistant, veterinary
janitor, food delivery guy, script delivery guy, day care counselor and
waiter (at approximately 13 different establishments). Nicholas was
fired from all but one of the aforementioned positions.
During his seventh year in the F&B (Food and Beverage service for
the layman), he decided to give acting another go; thankfully for his TV
fans (and restaurant managers), after two months of auditioning, he
landed the role of Xander in the now hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer
and hung up his apron for good. . . he hopes.
Off screen, the LA native enjoys quality time with his loved ones,
Dodger games, a good book, a nice Chianti, the idea of learning to surf
and play the piano, rollerblading, writing poetry and daydreaming of
world travel and philanthropy while watching anything on A&E.

Alexander LaVelle Harris
Xander, how he's most commonly known was brought up by both his
parents, though they were never on the most happiest terms with each
other. Xander's best friend in life has always been Willow Rosenberg,
from Kindergarten to present time. When Buffy Summers arrived at
Sunnydale High Xander had some mild feelings towards her, but nothing
ever developed. He also had a best friend called Jesse but he was killed
by a vampire and turned and so he had to be killed by Xander. Xander
doesn't have the biggest brains or the best brawn but still inputs a lot
into helping Buffy with her daily slayage. Xander at one point had quite
a long relationship with Cordelia, they use to be complete enemies. But
after a stray kiss with Willow, which Cordelia saw, Cordelia broke it
off with him.
After high school Xander wanted to trek around the States, but his car
broke down, the engine fell out, so he stuck around in one place until
he had enough money to return home. He lived at home in his parents basement.
He also bumped into old demon friend Anya. He thought he was over her
and vice versa, but their feelings grew and Xander soon proposed to her.
But after seeing a future of what could have been Xander left Anya at
the alter. He no longer lives in his parents basement, he's got a swanky
flat of his own in Sunnydale and also is in the construction business,
of which he's getting rather good at.
He helped in the reconstruction of the new Sunnydale High with his
skills. His relationship with Anya was beginning to mend itself and they
were nearly back together. In the days before the final battle Xander's
eye was poked out by the preacher, Caleb, and didn't seem to be much use
to Buffy anymore. But he showed he could still hold his own. He helped
what he could in the last fight, but sadly Anya didn't make it but was
happy she went out doing the "silly" thing.
