- The ULTIMATE BUFFY Episode Countdown

Another 5 episodes -- all for you. You know who you are. You look lovely today, by the way.

#68 - The Harvest
[episode 1.2]

This is the 2nd part of the 2-part series premiere. It's pretty much the only time I won't combine 2-parters. Don't ask me why I did it with this one. Ok, ask....I forgot. Anywho, Xander and Willow find out Buffy's the slayer. The Master turns Jesse into a vampire, and all hell breaks lose. There's a metaphor-y homoerotic scene between The Master and Luke (the vessel) and then Buffy dusts Luke. Fun times had by all....except Luke. Yeah, he's not having too much fun, I'd wager.

#67 - Family
[episode 5.6]

Tara thinks she's going to turn into demon because her family has been telling her this for years. Problem is -- she isn't, but she doesn't know this. So she decides to hide it from the scoobies. You can imagine this doesn't turn out too great. Glory sends out some demons (cause that's pretty much what she does until the finale) and no one can see them because Tara has done a spell. Then we get the "we're family" scene, as Tara cries like a little sap and everyone is all "party on, Ted." at the end. In other news, my insect reflection is showing.

#66 - Helpless
[episode 3.12]

Buffy is all doped up thanks to Giles. She's going through the slayer's rite of passage, in which the Watcher's Council tosses her in a room with a vampire and her abilities are shot to hell, so she has to make do. Which she do....er...does. Some nutty vamp named Kraylick (who looks a lot like the warlock Rack, probably because he's played by the same friggin' actor) kidnaps her mom and of course, here's where the fun begins. By the end, Giles gets shit canned by the Council because he has a "father's love for the child"...and not in the Michael Jackson fatherly way either.

#65 - Flooded
[episode 6.4]

M'Fashnick (i.e - Mmmm, Cookies) is out to kill the Slayer. Hey buddy, get an original idea. The TRIO comes into power (oh yeah, you know you're scared!). Buffy's basement floods, and she's still looks to have that whole 'post-resurrection depression'. Geez, get over it already! You mean this will go on all season???!! CRAP.

#64 - A New Man
[episode 4.12]

Ethan Rayne comes to town. You know where I'm going with this....wait for it....wait for it.... NUTTY-NESS ENSUES! Ah, I'm predictable. So he turns Giles into a demon, because it sounds like something Ethan would do. I mean, he never really has a purpose except to make everyone extremely uncomfortable.....which I guess WOULD be a purpose afterall, so ignore that. Buffy notices it's Giles in the demon outfit, and Ethan goes to prison. We never hear from him again. Unless you play "Chaos Bleeds", in which case, sorry you wasted those easy 2 1/2 hours.
