the Chistine Feehan's Carpathian series universe. Spike is a Carpathian (a
souled vampire) and Buffy is his human lifemate. He needs to tie her to him
before he loses his soul while protecting her from an evil vampire and members
of a secret society. Don't need to be familiar with the Carpathian universe to
read this and enjoy, things are explained to the reader as they are explained to
Buffy.
