Fans Bid Farewell to Angel One would like to think the hordes of limousines and folks in evening dress dodging raindrops outside the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles the night of Saturday, Feb. 21, were all there to mourn the end of The WB's recently axed "Angel" -- but, not so much.
A Stake Through the Heart of Quality Television For many, Friday the 13th is a day of superstition. It is a day where one should watch over shoulders and remain ever vigilant lest something dreadful happens upon them. This was the day the five-year-old program Angel died at the hands of a merciless troll (read "television executive") at the WB Network.

Michelle Trachtenberg All Grown Up Post-Buffy adventures - Michelle Trachtenberg is no longer the innocent young girl from Buffy. However, some tight jeans and a bikini start to change their minds.

More on Saving Angel |
Saving Angel The Saving Angel Campaign is a multifaceted coalition from all spectrums of the Whedonverse fandom, including groups previously responsible for placing a number of full page fan ads in The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and other publications. We have banded together as a collective body to support the continuation of ANGEL beyond this season. We are eternally thankful for the creative efforts of Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt, the cast, writers, and crew of ANGEL, and we feel that it is too soon for their voices to be silenced. We are willing to follow ANGEL wherever it may go and hope that you will join our cause. |
