We think:
Faith returns to BtVS after breaking out of jail and saving Angel in Angel Season 4. Season 7 is the last season of Buffy and includes the Series Finale.
To be honest, I loathed season 7. It reeked and the end of series finale, Chosen, was nothing but bad. A series as brilliant as Buffy deserved so much better than regulars being pushed to the back for the SiT's and 'General' Buffy bitching her way through the season. Woeful doesn't begin to describe it. Faith, too, was pushed back. Yes, a couple of episodes can be put down to Eliza filming the pilot for Tru Calling, but overall, a character so loved as Faith, was just badly treated. The so-called writers should be ashamed - including Joss! If you want to see a good End Of Series, watch Angel's 'Not Fade Away'. That was just amazing [weeps]
