#63 - Choices
[episode 3.19]

The Mayor must have his box of Gavrok to complete his ascension. The scoobies find this out and want to be the party poopers like usual. So Buffy comes up with a stealthy mission to retrieve the box, some shit happens, and all of a sudden Willow gets kidnapped. So Buffy and the gang have the box, The Mayor and Faith have Willow. It's time for a good ol' fashioned trade. Willow gets bitchslapped, steals some pages from the Books of Ascension, and then at the end tells Buffy she's staying in Sunnydale. Knowing what we know now, it probably would've been best for her to go to Oxford and become a scone fan, eh?

#62 - Tough Love
[episode 5.19]

Here's one of those future moments now. Tara gets brain-sucked by Glory. That couldn't have been all that hearty for her luminous incandescence. Willow arrives a little too late, and also in some funny looking jacket that she must have bought from the "lesbian wiccans 'r' us". At the end, Tara blows it for everyone by pointing out that Dawn is all green, so now Glory knows. Way to go, braintrust.

#61 - The Freshman
[episode 4.1]

Don't ask me how this isn't top 50, it just isn't. Welcome to UC Sunnydale -- come for the knowledge, stay for the carnage. The gang (nay Xander) are college bound, and Buffy isn't feelin' the lifestyle thus far. Willow on the other hand is in book geek heaven. So Buffy gets her ass kicked, then Xander comes back from the Fabulous Ladies Night Club and gives her one of his "go team scooby" speeches, and eventually she gets over the wah-wah's and kicks Sunday The Vampire's booty....and gets her....um....booty back. You know, like possessions. Well, I thought it was clever.

#60 - Bring on the Night
[episode 7.10]

Uh oh...it's the First Evil. Watch out, or it may psycho-analize you!!!! Scary. Buffy gets her ass handed to her by the Turok-Han (also known as "Ubervamp", and "bad guy that is indestructible until it's inconvenient"). Then we get the first of MANY....MANY...Buffy speeches. This one wasn't so bad. There are worse ones coming.

#59 - Life Serial
[episode 6.5]

There are these evil things called 'bills'. They are the most deadly force in the universe. So Buffy must save herself from these horrifying paper creatures by getting a job. Problem is, the Trio is testing her at the same time. Things get a little difficult, what with demons and speeding time and mummy hands. So let's go have drinks and kitten poker with Spike and leave Giles with the clean up. Sounds like a plan to me.
