Summary:
Still finding their feet in their new positions at Wolfram & Hart, Team Angel are presented with their first case to solve. Bad guy Corban Fries is on trial for heinous things and Wolfram & Hart are his lawyers, the trial's not going too well and Fries promises to say the magic word and release a bonb that will leave only the undead alive.

When Harmony wakes up after a night out to find a dead guy next to her, and then finds that the dead guy was a crucial player in a summit between two warring demon clans, she has to work hard to prove that she has been set up.

Under the effect of a Selminth Parasite, a weakened Angel hallucinates that Spike has become the champion and will fulfil the Shanshu Prophecy, while in the real world Lindsey approaches Spike and tries to persuade him to do just that.

Angel and Spike return from a trip to England with the knowledge that Illyria has taking over Fred's body. While Illyria gathers an army to take over the world, Angel tries everything he can to save his friends.

When Eve finds that the Senior Partner's are after her, she bargains for her life, telling Angel and co that Lindsey knows everything there is to know about the Senior Partner's. The hunt for Lindsey leads the remaing crew to an alternate dimesion where Lindsey is being kept in limbo. Meanwhile there is a new liaison to the Senior Partners in town.

When a couple come to Wesley for help with their strangely strong son, Wesley wants to help, but when Angel runs into Connor in the Wolfram & Hart lobby he is less keen to help. Wesley's rersearch leads him to the discovery that the Senior Partner's altered reality on the day they took over Wolfram & Hart, while the demon who altered that reality threatens to restore Connor's memory if Angel doesn't get him to kill Sahjan.

A pregnant girl comes to Angel for help with a contract to give her baby away to demons who will raise it as a god, meanwhile Illyria's power becomes unstable and she begins to shift time. Believing that Angel wishes to kill her, she comes up with a plan of her own to prevent it from happening.

On hearing that the love of both their lives is in danger from one of their old nemesis', The Immortal, Angel and Spike head to Rome to save Buffy from his evil clutches. Instead they find that she is far from need of their help.
