 Kevin Weisman, who played Glory’s minion Dreg in season five, played Marshall J. Flinkman in Alias. He has also appeared in Lip Service, Gone in Sixty Seconds, The Rock, Charmed, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, Felicity, The X Files, Roswell, The Drew Carey Show, ER and Frasier. Kevin appeared in Beverly Hills Family Robinson with Sarah Michelle Gellar in 1998. |

Is there a connection producer/director/writer-wise behind the scenes between Buffy/Angel and Alias? With both Amy Acker (Fred) and Gina Torres (Jasmine) also joining the cast of Alias, there must be some crossover somewhere.
Other crossovers I’ve noticed include Danny Strong (Jonathan) and writer Rebecca Rand Kirschner both working on Gilmore Girls.

As far as Gina Torres joining Alias, she was a recurring character back in the show’s first season, before she joined ‘Firefly’ or ‘Angel’, so I don’t see that connection as being valid. However, not only have Amy Acker and Kevin Weisman joined Alias since their time on BTVS/Angel, but writers Drew Goddard and Jeffrey Bell have joined Alias since ‘Angel’ ended. Also, Robert Patrick Bennidict (who appeared in ‘Superstar’ in season four) appeared in the premeire and finale of season four of ‘Alias’.
