  • On trivia Don Quixote:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: I honestly see nothing wrong with their actions. Buffy was right about their being something there, but she was very wrong in her plan. She simply didn't have one, and had they gone back, nothing would have changed. Without a scythe or a slayer-turning-into spell, they'd have been totally screwed trying to fight Caleb and the bringers anyway. Simply, she had no plan; just a vendetta and some hurt pride that would have gotten a lot of more people killed. Throwing her out right then probably helped her to see how harsh she was being, and...
    • Comfortador: And as it turns out Buffy was right (even willing to talk strategy etc.) and Giles and all of her other back-stabbing "friends" were wrong. What a short memory these ingrates have. She's died twice to save them and the world, including jumping to her death to save Dawn. And she gets thrown out of her own home. There's a fine how-do-ya-do! • TwoToGo-Grave: But had they gotten back (and had Tara been brought back), it would have cheapened what we had seen at the end of season six. Death must be real; it's not something like Alias where nobody is ever in real danger (We were made to believe that Sloan had died three times, for example). I love Tara as much as anyone (and far more than most), but seeing her back for the final couple of hours would have been wrong, and it would have cause her death and the consequences from that (and reactions to that) to feel...
    • Mysteryend: I didn't like Kenedy. Willows and Kenedys "realationship" wasnt about love On the other hand Willow and Tara's was pure sweet love. • On trivia Heading to L.A.:
    • Skuhm: The never-ending discussion: Buffy or Angel? well, I like both shows, but still, though I'm in my 20s, I relate more easily to Buffy. I believe the plots in Buffy were more character-driven; the enemies usually had some sort of emotional connection with her: boyfriend turned evil, goddess in search of her sister, the first evil... Also the main cast seems sort of "weak" in the face of danger and their personal lives: Xander, Willow, Tara, Dawn... Well, I guess Cordelia, Fred and Lorne sort of fulfilles that role on Angel. Angel's plot seems reminicent of noir films, often dealing...
    • Mysteryend: On the whole BtVS Vs. Angel Angels target Audience was for people in their 20s and BtVS target Audience was mainly for teens so I guess it depends on how old you are... In my opinion BtVS was better than Angel because you had a wider diversity of characters and the humor was funnier on the other hand Angel still is a good show and it had more ratings than BtVS. ...
    • Kevmaster2000: Buffy is better, no question. But "Angel" is a great show. I actually feel the exact opposite of Mair.... I think season 1 of "Angel" is the worst season of either show, but seasons 2-4 are all classics (especially 3 & 4). Season 5 has some great moments as well, but those of you who all love "Buffy" should watch "Angel", at least so you can get the whole story. And it's fun, too....

  • On trivia [6.03-11.07] Spike's chip:
    • stephanieisit: Yeah, like Mike said, he winces as if in pain and I doubt that he hurt Xander much at all just by pushing him into a tree so it would'nt've hurt that much for Spike...
  • On trivia Tara's jealousy:
    • Julie: @stephanieisit: it does makes sense that Willow would be bisexual. I believe a good part of the saying that she is only "gay" comes from some future episodes: Tabula Rasa, where even without memories of her past she realizes her attraction to Tara, Him, where she wants to turn RJ into a woman because the spell made her love him, etc....
    • stephanieisit: Is it uncommon for Americans to be bisexual? Because people always say how Willow suddenly 'went gay' and isn't it possible she could just like both sexes? That would make much more sense, because I think she loved both Oz and Tara but chose Tara because she'd grown much closer to her and didn't want to hurt her...
  • On trivia [5.16-16.38] Dawn's drawing:
    • stephanieisit: The drawing seen right at the end isn't Dawn's because it doesn't have the line down it that she accidently drew when Buffy came in, I think it's supposed to be one of her classmates drawings as they'd all moved toward the windows when Dawn collapsed...

    • Wynter: TwoToGo-Grave says: August 5th, 2006 at 3:05 pm I must agree with Wynter (as I often seem to do) That's because great minds think alike, m'friend ;-) ...
    • TwoToGo-Grave: I must agree with Wynter (as I often seem to do) about Conner and all that. Also, I too am very glad that they didn't use the adoption idea (and especially that they didn't bring on a little kid), as that would have been really annoying and all. Of course, it would have been a real shame to not see Dawn and the dynamic there. A little kid would have been awful (although if anyone could make anything work, it would be Joss Whedon)....
    • Wynter: You mean most of season 3, Connor was a teen for all of season 4. I didn't find the baby thing annoying though, I liked how it reinforced the team being a "family". ...
    • slayed: Connor as a baby ruined much of Angel Season 4(?) for me....
  • On trivia Musical comedy version:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Well, the fact that this was uttered in season one was almost certainly a coincidence, but the act of alluding to it in the musical may well have had much to do with that line in 'Nightmares'....
    • Mysteryend: Joss has said in numerous interveiws that he wanted to do a musical from the start....
    • jend: Coincidence or not? Is it possible that Joss already had the possibility of a musical comedy in mind during season one? Discuss....
  • On trivia Buffy confuses herself:
    • Mysteryend: Willow: Do they really stick out? Xander: What? Willow: Sore thumbs. Do they stick out? I mean, have you ever seen a thumb and gone, "Wow! That baby is sore!" Xander: You have too many thoughts. I like this one aswell I know its not Buffy buts its still funny ...
    • Wynter: This is just another Buffy quality that makes her character more endearing. I also love how she mispronounces words - a couple of examples that spring to mind would be when she says Botox's Eye instead of Beljoxa's, and calling the Prokaryote stone a "prophylactic" stone. ...
  • On trivia Dracula's defeat:
    • slayed: I like the alternative ending - Dracula escapes into the woods as a wolf. It was a kinda hokey and a little too campy with him disappearing into a puff of smoke. They probably could not afford the CGI or it was budgeted for later in the Season. ...
  • On trivia Darla dead?:

  • On trivia Oz in The Wish:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: And if the town was overrun and practically ruled by vampires, I doubt that Cain would have had the courage and stupidity to come to Sunnydale at all. It would be quite the potential suicide mission for one measly werewolf....
    • Abby M.: While it's still possible that Oz might have not even been a werewolf in The Wish world, it is still very possible he was. Many things changed by Buffy not coming to Sunnydale. It is even possible that nobody, not even Oz knew he was werewolf because the Scoobie Gang wasn't there to help him along and so he just randomly woke up outside 3 nights a month. Also, if Buffy had never come, it doesn't mean Cain would have killed Oz. In Phases Xander makes the comment if it wasn't for Buffy, Ms. French would have killed him and...
    • TwoToGo-Grave: He didn't repeat it for Willow. He repeated it because he simply failed to graduate. He also failed to attend summer school, but that was also not because of Willow (but may have been because of helping to fight demons; something that would have been more neccessary if he did not have Xander and Willow to help and if the whole town was overrun). Just a thought....
    • Mysteryend: Ok correct me if im wrong because high chance Iam.... Oz repeated his last year of high school and repeated it becuse of Willow so why is he stil in school?...
  • On trivia Chao-Ahn:

  • On trivia Bai Ling:
    • Wynter: Damn, she has such a cool name....
  • On trivia Jane Espenson:
    • Wynter: That is, by far, one of the best lines in that episode...possibly one of the funniest in the entire show but then there's been so many it's hard to tell. Definitely a great line though, I love the way Snyder says "spaaaaz!" ...
    • Mysteryend: Jane is one of my favourite writers on the show. "Oh Summers you drive like a spaz!" ...
  • On trivia Exposition song:
    • Wynter: I don't think that song is a foreshadow as such, it just happens to fit really well with that theme. Good video though, it's an amusing idea....
    • Mysteryend: I found a video on youtube to this song and how it foreshadows season 6 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2dg0HrBq48...
    • Kevmaster2000: What about the last line? "No wait..." (feedback) Great moment. Especially when Tony busts out the memorable chorus of, "I've got to warn Buffy; there's every chance she might be next." Hi-larious....
    • DarthRosenberg: The song is great, Anthony SH has a great voice, and the lyrics.... LOL! I love this show very much, but I think I'm the only one hardcore fan here in Hungary.... :( No one cries with me, laughs with me. They only laughs on me when I talk about my Buffyness... :D Restless is one of my favorite epis, so as Something blue and Tabula Rasa and Him and The wish and so on....... :D...
  • On trivia Angel:
    • Buffster: Angel is probably one of my favorite characters. Although sometimes he can be annoying he's still an awesome character. He, unlike some characters, has levels. He's not 2D; he's more like 10D. He turns evil for gods sakes! Angelus is the coolest vampire in the Buffy universe especially when he's paired up with his sire Darla. Along with Drusilla and Spike. Also Buffy and Angel is my favorite relationship on TV. Period. The Romeo and Juliet theme is spectacular! It's just great! ...
  • On trivia Dart to heart:
    • luckykitty89: That was ny exact thought in the season one Angel episode "I Fall to Pieces." Angel is given a shot of something that is supposed to slowly disable the heart's functions. The poison takes Angel out and "kills" him in a sense. We then, of course, get the big close up shot of Angel's eyes opening again because his heart isn't working anyway AND poison can't kill him. One of my first thoughts was "Why does that affect him? You can't stop what is already not functioning." I, too, wondered how male vampires could have sex if their blood...
  • On trivia Alcohol:
    • Lilwenn: Well, most episodes I dislike aren't completely horrible. They all have good quotes or great moments. I hate As you were because : 1 I hate Riley so much. Why did he have to come back ? 2 His love story with Sam isn't credible at all. 3 I didn't think the storyline with Spike as "the Doctor" was believable. It's just not his style. It's worth watching because : 1 Buffy sings the Doublemeat medley tune. 2 Willow acts "bestfriendly" by hating Sam. 3 The Buffy quote : "My hat has a cow." I don't like Listening to fear because : 1 Riley's in it. (Ok, ok, petty.) 2...
    • DarthRosenberg: I don't like Riley so my vote for the worst episode would be As you were. I was so happy when he left and then I had to see his "mommy's favorite, good-boy" face again.... Grrr... Altough I do like Beer Bad (but only for some of the quotes: "Buffy want beer. Buffy strong. Buffy get beer!") and Normal Again (which has a well-written script and a good-playing actress, the idea was a little bit sticky and crazy, but the ending... there was an exciting last 15 minutes!) Anyway, I don't know how you feel about it, but I don't like neither...

    • Longlostscooby: And lets not forget the mustard man in "Once more with feeling"....
  • On trivia Naming Spike:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Its neat that in 'Why We Fight' in season five of 'Angel', we see a vampire called the Prince of Lies. I wonder if that was an allusion to this deleted line....
    • eboniorchid: Somehow Willy or Bill just don't feel like Big Bad names for a vamp, though if he were a Western-style gunslinger that might have worked. Lucien, Prince of Lies, while better than the other two, still doesn't fit our dear William-turned-Spike....
  • On trivia Shanshu Prophecy:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: I can't believe that just signing that piece of paper has any meaning. It doesn't seem reasonable for this to be the case, but it would make sense that the Circle would want Angel to prove himself, and at least him thinking that he has signed this away would offer such proof. Of course, if Joss Whedon decided to have Angel sign away this hope, then that's what happened. I'd love to see anything for an answer (I don't care about the answer; I just want to see anything of the show, but I won't get my hopes up)....
    • Abby M.: Hmm...maybe it means that Spike will be the one to Shanshu. He is the only vampire with a soul who is still eligible! :) Maybe we'll find out if Joss decides to do a Spike spin-off......
    • Longlostscooby: I just had a thought. Shanshu means both to live and die. Well in this very episode they bring a dead vampire back to life, as a human. Darla. So it can be done. So if someone killed vampire Angel you could theorize that you could bring him back as human, using the same ritual that was performed to bring back Darla. And Angel would have died and then lived, to Shanshu....
  • On trivia Training room:
    • ishca89: Can anyone tell me what the symbols are on the walls in the training room? ...
  • On trivia Changes afoot at the house:
    • btvs_chosen1: Also, the kitchen isn't connected directly to the dining room, but there is a hall....
  • On trivia Numfar:
    • somethingblue: It's Joss AND his name is Numfar, that is classic. I want to be his friend....Is that creepy?...
    • Abby M.: It really is. It is even that much funnier cause it's Joss himself....
    • hannah_wish01: I love the fact that in the last episode of season two when Lornes mother has gone inside to her hut you can here her say 'Numfar do the dance of shame' Hilarious!...
  • On trivia Connor and Cordy:
    • somethingblue: Ewwww...
    • DarthRosenberg: I copied here all the synonyms that my dictonary found for disgusting: abominable, distasteful, foul, groaty, grotty, icky, loathsome, nauseating, nauseous, noisome, pooping, queasy, rank, repellent, repulsive, revolting, sickening, smarmy, ugly. That's all I can say about this whole Connor/Cordy stuff. It was so bad to see them. So disgusting! Demons, vampires, women in the penitentiary system, non of them freaks me out. But that "love" - scene.... YUCK!...
  • On trivia Xander the sheep:
    • slayed: Think about what he's doing. He's following two beautiful women because he can't help himself. To truly understand this you have to understand how much of a feminist Joss is. Here he's saying (most) men are sheep. Xander being a prototypical example of the one track mind. Much has been made of this aspect of his personality (especially see "Earshot"). To borrow a line from "Where the Wild Things Are": "slaves to the rhythm" (Forrest). But that sentiment does not nearly have enough negative import as is intended here....
  • On trivia [4.17-18.02] Karen with a K:
    • slayed: I agree with River. It is earlier. ... cut from the scene of Karen running from the demon in the rain to ... Johnathan back at the Initiative talking to Riley about Faith/Buffy after the briefing on Adam....
  • On trivia Buffy and Angel get married:
    • Abby M.: They really do. I love Angel's suit, he looked really handsome and they are both look just so happy. Too bad it was a dream!...
    • not_that_bright: I love that scene - they look so cute together....
  • On trivia Michelle in Xander's dream?:
    • not_that_bright: It looks heaps like her. Exactly the same hair, all shiny and long. It could definetely be her....
  • On trivia Gotta have Faith?:
    • not_that_bright: I read somewhere that it is Eliza Dushku. Im not sure if its actually the character Faith, but it is Eliza....
  • On trivia Orgazmo:
    • Skuhm: Actually I think the reference comes from Woody Allen's film Sleeper, where there's a device called the Orgasmatron... I know the word is silghtly different, but I think in Orgasmo they were actually referencing Woody Allen's movie =)...
  • On trivia Willy the Snitch:
    • Skuhm: I can't remenber that moment, but I'm sure it was very touching =)...
  • On trivia Slayer killer:
    • ant4buffy: No he isn't. Although he did drink from Buffy in Season 3. He has never actually killed a slayer....
    • eboniorchid: Is Angel/us also a Slayer Killer? I mean, I would imagine so, but I can't remember whether it was talked about or not....
  • On trivia [1.10-08.43] Black or white?:
    • ghola8: I always thought he was wearing a glove!...
  • On trivia Dennis Pearson:
    • ghola8: I always felt bad for Dennis when they moved Cordy's stuff out and then after...He just had to get used to someone else I guess. Someone with an very less interesting life, I bet....
  • On trivia Amber defends herself:
    • DarthRosenberg: Come on! I was shocked when I read that she was critised! It NEVER came in to my mind that she is fat or weighty or ANYTHING. And they were perfectly fit with Alyson. And I loved Oz but it was so natural that Willow fell for Tara it didn't surprised me at all. The whole storyline was built-up very well. And Amber is so brave and clever to spread these words. Oh and I really love this line: "I think that being a beautiful, heavy, lesbian witch rocks!" :D AMBER ROCKS! :)...
    • Julie: Two things. 1, Amber Benson isn't fat. 2, even if she were, so what? She's a great actress and I think Willow and Tara are the cutest couple ever and the one that should never have ended up as they did. Besides, anyone would look fat if they were surrounded by Sarah, Alyson, Michelle and Emma all at the same time....
  • On trivia Heavy breather:
    • DarthRosenberg: Definetely had a point. But I just have to laugh when I imagine Joss "breathing heavy" in a studio.... :D And that is not funny to laugh loud here, because I'm at my workplace..... :D...
  • On trivia Lilah Morgan:
    • DarthRosenberg: She was one of my favorite characters in Angel... Especially when she were with Wesley. That was soooo un-romantic, just dirty and kinda sad. Oh, and I like her humor, the best sarcastic, ironic humor "since" Anya! :)...
  • On trivia Illyria:
    • DarthRosenberg: :( I'm so sad that I don't have the chance to see these epis... I want to see the complete season 5. :( But the chanel that shows Angel only repeat season 4. Now like the... fourth or fifth time.... it's boring and annoying that they "can't" air the season 5.... Grrr!...
  • On trivia Harmony Kendall:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, that nice...! :) An Andrew/Harmony spin-off would be a comedy-series. A great comedy-series! :)...
  • On trivia Wesley Wyndham-Pryce:
    • ant4buffy: Hey DarthRosenberg. Why don't you register on our forum as you have so much to say? We like new people to join us!...
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, that's true... But it was sooo sad... :( I don't see it yet (grr... Hungary grr...), but I've read the transcripts and I cried when he died... :(...
  • On trivia Riley's new look:
    • DarthRosenberg: MORE HANDSOME?! Geez.... I think besides the scar, that he had a more "good-boy" looking in this epi... Anyway... Riley.... Phfeeeee! :)...
  • On trivia Smoking bad:
    • DarthRosenberg: In the show, maybe the smoking thing means something like that, that they have some of the bad in them. But I don't think it's work for real-life.... :D Anyway I think there was a sentence, Dawn said something about Spike smoking in the house in Storyteller.... hmmm... like "passive stink" or something. It was translated to Hungarian this way... :)...
  • On trivia Queller demon:
    • DarthRosenberg: Flukeworm, The Host, X-Files! THAT'S IT! All these years I was thinking about what this demon remind me of... Thanks ildjarn!!!!! :D...
    • Kevmaster2000: I've always thought this episode was a bit underrated by many fans, partially because of the supreme freakiness of the Queller demon. The scene where it's on the ceiling staring at Joyce, and she's ranting and yelling at it, all deranged.....probably the most disturbing scene in Buffy history. Just my opinion....
  • On trivia Wood and Giles share a joint:
    • DarthRosenberg: The effects are almost the same. Only the legal/illegal thing is different. And drinking and get drunk is as harmful as smoking. But I can understand everything you all said about the theme, I do. :) :)...
    • Abby M.: I don't know, I guess I'm weird about things like that but Giles and Wood sharing a joint would have been funny but on the other hand, there is a difference between getting wasted on beer and smoking an illegal drug....
    • DarthRosenberg: And, we saw him smoking in Band Candy. Okay, that was just cigarette but there isn't THAT much difference between a joint and a cigarette.... (trust me) :)...
    • DarthRosenberg: I think it would be a great scene. I don't think that it would be out of Giles' character. I saw a music video which mainly concentrated on Giles and the music was Daddy Cool (from Boney M). Because he is a daddy cool. :) Especially since season 3. When Wesley arrived and Giles had to face that Wes acting like a butt-monkey and they have some similarities in them, Giles became so much different. He was way cooler from then. And yes, we didn't see him drink a lot, but I agree with mairceridwen that "Sharing a joint in times...
  • On trivia Common Slayer:
    • Kevmaster2000: Yeah....I actually met Clare Kramer at Comic-Con last year, and she was a real sweetheart. Nothing like Glory at all....
  • On trivia Abraham Benrubi:
    • Kevmaster2000: And he did some great voice-over work on Seth Green's "Robot Chicken" show....
  • On trivia Breakable Xander:
  • On trivia [5.13-26.54] Dawn's diaries:
    • Kevmaster2000: I always thought Willow didn't finish the sentence because she realized that it wasn't true, the memory of when Dawn started her journal was just false. And I'd say she just knew about when Dawn started the diary....a Summers Legend, like mair said. ...
  • On trivia Bubble blower:
    • Kevmaster2000: Erm....not to be a jackass, but I assume by "Checkpoint" you meant "Blood Ties". :)...
  • On trivia Drusilla's last stand:
    • Kevmaster2000: Yeah, it's a shame. Where did she go after this episode?...
  • On trivia Threatening Spike:
    • Kevmaster2000: Yeah this scene is just great. You want to sympathize with poor lovelorn Spike, but you know that Buffy's friends are just being good and loyal friends by defending her. A rather tense scene in an otherwise generally easy-going episode (besides the ending, of course)....
  • On trivia Adam Busch:
    • Kevmaster2000: Adam Busch was hi-larious in "American Dreamz"....although the movie could've been better....
  • On trivia More Angel:
    • Kevmaster2000: Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, this episode aired after the Angel episode "Epiphany", which is sort of the episode in which Angel makes amends with his team and turns back to the regular old Angel. So it's not really out of character for him to comfort the love of his life after her mother's death. And then in the following Angel episode, Alyson Hannigan made an appearance. Kind of a trade-off or something. Although it is odd that Angel's visit to Sunnydale is never mentioned on his show....
  • On trivia Alyson's favourite episodes:
    • DarthRosenberg: I've read this already somewhere else, but that is soooo cute, that Alyson said, that she had such a crush on Alexis.... :)...
  • On trivia That one time:
    • DarthRosenberg: Haha, Magicbone, you're so right! Some kind of oil... great quote hehehehe! :D But besides this: GEEEZ! That's just gross... harsh... GEEZ! :D...
  • On trivia Joss's pet character:
    • DarthRosenberg: Come on! That was funny! Okay, wrong and stunning in a baaaad way, but the same time it was funny. The misapprehension of their whole relationship (because they couldn't remember anything) was lead to a bunch of jokes and crazy situations. I liked that! :)...
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Don’t forget about that “little” passionate kiss with Anya in Tabula Rasa!!! :D Yes, it's so wrong that we just can't forget it....
    • DarthRosenberg: Don't forget about that "little" passionate kiss with Anya in Tabula Rasa!!! :D...
  • On trivia Long story:
    • DarthRosenberg: I think that this is the same kind of "joke" that they give to Andrew everytime (The "Show it!" joke when he always started to talking about another thing). Yes, I swear that there was another "long story" joke in one epis between Giles and Buffy...... Grrr... I have to find out!!!!...
    • ant4buffy: What about when Giles says Long Story - and then Buffy gives what he calls the "abridged version". But I can't remember what episode its from....
  • On trivia Wesley killed:
    • DarthRosenberg: Actually I haven't got the chance to see Angel's season 5 yet, it didn't aired in Hungary. They simple decided that they don't show it to the Hungarian fans... :( Altough I did knew about Wesley's teary sad death (I've read the transcripts and I cried like a child...:( ). I liked him in BtVS, because he was very funny in those epis. And then I didn't liked him in his first Angel seasons. And then, after his throat was cut and he started that little dirty, sexy relationship with Lilah I was totally in love with him (totally un-literally:)). So I think...
  • On trivia Joss's favourite villain:
    • DarthRosenberg: Oh, it's so hard to decide...... Maybe... 1. Vamp Willow 2. Dark Willow 3. Nerd Trio 4. Sweet 5. Caleb I think my list is pretty usual... :( :)...
  • On trivia Joss's ideal finale:
    • DarthRosenberg: And what about poor Xander who lose his other eye altough he is not even there?!?! Just imagine: he sits somewhere in Cleveland and suddenly his other eye is fallen out because of what happening in LA. Horroristic, I can tell! :)...
  • On trivia Acathla:
    • ant4buffy: Where did Acathla go to after this episode though? He should've been there when Angel came back....
  • On trivia Marti on the penis monster:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, that Entropy conversation was funny. Especially after Anya join them and tried to convince them to make a wish about "men like Xander"... :D And that was the best: "Well if I wasn't gay before..." :D I laughed myself off from my chair........ :)...
    • Julie: This makes me wonder whether Tara has ever been with a man....
  • On trivia Virgil and Halo Friendlies:
    • DarthRosenberg: I find some song from them on one peer-to-peer. But I can't get the full version of my favorite from them: Got you where I want you. :(...
  • On trivia Michelle Branch:
    • DarthRosenberg: I am not a Michelle fan but this song was great in the show I think. I'm more into the rock stuffs. :)...
  • On trivia Sarah McLachlan:
    • DarthRosenberg: In the deep by Bird York was nominated for an Oscar in best song category. It is a good song, I think it's better then "It's hard out here for a pimp" which won the category.... ...
  • On trivia Melanie Doane:
    • DarthRosenberg: Okay, the lyrics definetely makes more sense now with knowing that she wrote it for the TV.... But it's sounds so strange......
  • On trivia Cream:
    • DarthRosenberg: Great idea. Very sad. That's all. It's hard for me to talk about those epis because of my life's actual happenings.......
  • On trivia Bush:
    • DarthRosenberg: I love the band too, but this is not my favorite song from them. Anyway, I loved the break-down scene. It's not only shows SMG's acting skills and Buffy's feelings (or non-feelings) for Spike but it shows, that Tara was an insider. She was a really good friend of the Scoobies. It was mentioned in season 5, Real me episode that she feels like an outsider. And I think after the episode Family it wasn't really showed that much, that she is a Scooby as well. But when Buffy cries her heart out for her: that was soooo beautiful. And when Tara...
  • On trivia Barry White:
    • DarthRosenberg: That scene was so sweet... The dramatical stand-up and all... I love them together altough I love Willow and Tara together as well. But that was cute from Oz, that he could resists because the "Panicing..." scene was much more cute! :)...
  • On trivia Behind Blue Eyes:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, the song is great, and Anthony's voice is pleasent. BUT, the Scoobies' reaction... that is briliant!!!! Mainly when the girls starts to say, that he is kinda sexy (Willow had a crush on Giles... YEAH, that is funny!!!!) and Xander having a total mental breakdown. :D...
  • On trivia Lyrics: Under Your Spell:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, same old Xander. He never stop being jealous and curious about Willow and Tara. :D...
  • On trivia Lyrics: Sweet's Song:
    • DarthRosenberg: No, you are not the only one. This is my second favorite from the album. (Walk through the fire can beat it, but nothing else!) :)...
  • On trivia Lyrics: Something To Sing About:
    • DarthRosenberg: :) I noticed that mistake as well... Perfectionist are in! (They're still in right?!) :D...
  • On trivia Lyrics: Going Through the Motions:
    • DarthRosenberg: Oh, that's a great jazzy song!!!!! :) I didn't realize it until now! :)...
  • On trivia Alyson Hannigan:
    • DarthRosenberg: Actually in Angel episode, Orpheus, Willow thought that Fred was interested in her. She was already with Kennedy that time and she only misunderstood Fred's excitement about magic. But, of course, that was a very cute scene! Anyway, Orpheus was great, Willow was great with everyone. I loved the Will-Cordy scene and the Will-Wes scene... (when he asked that is there anything else changed - besides the ultimate evil thing - and she says no altough there were a lot of changes:))))...
  • On trivia Willow Rosenberg:
    • DarthRosenberg: Oh, and I have to say, that Willow is my favorite character. Her whole history is great and the character is really well-built up. But this isn't new as well, is it?! :D...
    • DarthRosenberg: MissKittyFantastico, I agree every single word you said!!!! I mean: EVERY... :) I can't even say anything new, you wrote down everythin I was thinking. :)...
  • On trivia Heather Nova:
    • DarthRosenberg: Okay I wasn't entirely serious. They just had a lot of screen time together in last few episodes, and that was funny. That's all. I am not an Anya/Andrew shipper, no way!!!! :D...
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Andrew and Anya? That just sounds so...wrong. To each his own, however (or...her own). That statement by a former heavy poster about Faith and five potentials has promise, though (kidding...well I am a guy so I'm not entirely kidding)....
    • DarthRosenberg: Geeez.... Giles with a potential OR Andrew with Dawn... Geez, it's so... Yuck! However I'm an Andrew/Anya fan... They were so cute together in the last few episodes... I like especially the wheel-chair fight and that scene when Andrew said that Anya is the perfect woman. :D...
  • On trivia Crazy fun plan:
    • Julie: Warning: Here be spoilers. This makes me think of season 5. Glory uses the "crazies" to build up the tower and defend it, so you could say they are part of her "plan". Plus, Glory has minions....
  • On trivia [7.18-05.45] Willow's outfit:
    • DarthRosenberg: I'm curious: how long does it take to drive from LA to Sunnydale? Maybe thay stopped somewhere or something....
  • On trivia Ray Charles:
  • On trivia Where are you going?:
    • DarthRosenberg: Oh, but that would be funny! "People over the world, join hands, start a love train!" It's a song from maybe the 70's or from the 80's.... It is so fit for the whole Jasmine thing... :D...
  • On trivia They cancelled Stargate:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, I like these kind of referrences when they joke on Andrew's or/and Xander's nerdy-ness... (Wonderwoman, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen's etc etc.)...
  • On trivia [7.20-01.25] Anya's curls:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, and when Giles came back in season 6 finale Anya said it to Giles: I dyed my hair... again!" :D That was cute. Yes, I loved it too that she changed her hair everytime... :) Anya was one of my favorite characters anyway... so sad she died... :( ...
  • On trivia Passive-aggressive Buffy:
    • DarthRosenberg: Is it a quote-like or is it just some "fatal similarity" with Willow's words to Buffy in season 6 finale?! :D "After getting every inch of herself kicked" ...
  • On trivia I Spy:
    • DarthRosenberg: It's soooo funny! But I think Spike would killed Andrew if he would made this joke! :D Anyway, it was briliant how Andrew turned out to be in season seven one of the funniest and cutest characters of the show. I mean, is there anyone who hate the episode 'Storyteller'?! :)...
    • NotFadeAway: I agree Wynter. I wish we could have seen that scene, in part because, the more Andrew you have, the better....
    • Wynter: I would've LOVED to see this scene! The scene they had already ("Tapestry is the only thing in the whole bloody room!") was so funny and I'm sure Spike's reaction to that line would've been hilarious. Aaaw......
  • On trivia Blank of the Blankthuselah:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yeah, that would be a great line! I mean, it's so Willow-ish! :D...
  • On trivia Bored now:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yeah, I'm a contiuity-person myself as well! :) And I agree with star*naming about that she was just in this "bored now" mood which is very baaaad for everyone else around. Espcially for evil stupid guys like Warren. :)...
  • On trivia Flaying of Warren Meers:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, there are a lot of aspects of this death: 1. it was disgusting and "horrifying" 2. it was great, I hated Warren 3. it was briliant to see Willow kills somebody and the storyline afterwards 4. it was the most deserved, the most terrific, the most bloody and the most surprisingly done death ever on the show. I was like: "Geez, I can't believe she did this!!!!! Hurray! I mean Yuck! I mean WOW!" :D :D :D :D...
  • On trivia Amber's credits:
    • DarthRosenberg: She was credited at the begining! I remember that I found it strange when it's aired here last year....
  • On trivia Kinda gay:
    • DarthRosenberg: I liked "Big Bad Scary Veiny Willow" and the "Old reliable geysir dog Willow" as well. But nothing can beat the Vampire Willow! (or the penis, if I can quote Xander here...:))...
  • On trivia How lame is that?:
  • On trivia Anthony on kissing Emma:
    • DarthRosenberg: Oh, and I really liked the kiss-scene between Giles and Anya... It was very funny. But that was even funnier (after the kiss) when they acted like they were still under the spell and talked about how messy the shop is... :)...
    • DarthRosenberg: Willow and Giles has some really cute scenes together. Maybe my favorite is when Willow arrives at Giles's house in Hush and she write on the clipboad that 'Hi Giles!' and than they're hug each other. That was very cute!!! And of course I liked the scenes with them in England in the first two episodes of Season 7. Anyway, I think Anthony said that because they are friends with Alyson in real life. They said it a lot when someone asked how they get along with other cast members. And they always said that they are really close to each other....
  • On trivia [6.07-40.33] Tara's dance:
    • DarthRosenberg: Yes, I noticed that for the first time and I had to laugh. It was so funny and cute!!!! It would be too cruel to call this one as a goof. It was a cute little mistake! :) ...
  • On trivia Once more, with less feeling:
    • DarthRosenberg: That's funny! I like these kind of ties between the two shows... :)...
  • On trivia Family or friends?:
    • DarthRosenberg: I did notice this for the first time... But I couldn't think out anything... :?...
  • On trivia No singing for me:
    • DarthRosenberg: I think Willow's lines (those few ones) in OMWF was briliantly funny: "I think this line's mostly filler" (NO COMMENT....:D) And I liked the reference to the episode "Nightmares": "I've got a theory some kid is dreaming and we're all stuck inside his wacky Broadway nightmare." And when Anya finish her rockin' about bunnies, Willow and Giles has some lines together (and their expressions on their face is so funny when they sing this): "I've got a theory we should work this fast, 'Cause it clearly could get serious before it pass" :) Altough, her point of view would have been interesting about the whole memory-erasing stuff....
  • On trivia Making the musical shorter:
    • DarthRosenberg: Here in Hungary we only had the chance to see the short version. And the subtitles for the songs was very poor. The lyrics almost totally lost their humour and their meaning... "Look, that was disturbing!" :) Anyway, I saw a full version and that is way much better than the short one which is hardly enjoyable. Anyway, this episode was briliant! :)...
  • On trivia Knocked out:
    • DarthRosenberg: Oh god, it is so funny... I think I saw a music video with Giles "knocked-outs"... The music was Chumbawamba's Tumbhumpting! :D :D :D (sorry for the spelling above) Oh and THIS is soooo funny: "Ironically, Cordelia was the one to wake up in a coma." :) ...
  • On trivia Lorne:
    • ant4buffy: Yeah it was a superb final scene for Lorne. He was a superb character and I am glad that he got the sending off he did. I didn't want Lorne to die but just to leave....
  • On trivia Circle of the Black Thorn:
    • ant4buffy: Yep, he killed Cyrus Vail. Well actually Illyria did after Wesley died....
    • Abby M.: Didn't Wesley kill one even though he was killed in the process?...
  • On trivia [4.18-39.57] Anya's hand:
    • BuffyAnya: I agree with Dawn. Also she was a demon for a long time....She was probably used to things like that. ...
  • On trivia Riley Finn:
    • Abby M.: Yeah RockinRooster. I mean, I really liked Riley even though at times he could be really annoying. I just think in comparison to Angel, he was sort of a joke. Riley tried to be all macho and cool when Angel was those things and more without trying. We were all used to Buffy having the tortured soul who stayed to the shadows and only came out for his love for Buffy and fought his own kind for the good of the world. Then, we get this All-American guy who had some gadgets and lived in Iowa: He seemed lame compared...
    • RockinRooster: I think there is a reason peple don't like Riley, because Joss pushed them together soon after Angel left. And come on, face it, everyone loved the Angel/Buffy relationship. And people just have problems transfering their affections to another couple. I admit, Angel was better than Riley. But I still think Riley Finn, Captain America, was kinda cool. And kinda goodlookin'....
  • On trivia Dracula:
    • Rozzi: he'd probably stay dusty until he knew buffy wasn't the slayer any more then go back to his county ways. I wish there was a spin off of spike and dracula so we could find out why he owes spike eleven quid...
  • On trivia Little pig:
    • Rozzi: what did it survive on??? evil pigswill...
  • On trivia Slayer Warning :
    • Abby M.: Yeah but the Codex was really special and rare right? I mean, everything in that book came to pass....
    • ormaybemidgets: In Out of Mind, Out of Sight, Giles gets his hands on the Codex- a book of prophecy about the Slayer. And he takes it seriously. Wouldn't the Master do the same with a book of prophecy about the Annointed? Everything he read came to pass. Yes, Buffy did know the Annointed, but she doesn't stop him, and he does lead her into Hell. If the Master had a book that predicted the future, and was proven or suspected, or there was the slightest possibility of it being true, he wouldn't read it?...
    • Julie: I second Rozzi. The Harvest takes place before NKABOTFD, so it's normal that he was surprised in The Harvest....
    • Rozzi: maybe he hadnt read tht book yet......
  • On trivia Veruca:
    • Fenchurch: Isn't it kinda weird that there wasn't a big deal about Oz having killed someone? I mean, she wanted to kill Willow so she deserves to die, but it would have been kinda hard explaining the dead body....
  • On trivia Bob:
  • On trivia International House of Pancakes:
    • Abby M.: IHOP having pancakes from around the world? Fat chance......
    • asdf: They are called "international" because the different pancakes supposedly come from all over the world...
  • On trivia Same Graveyard:
    • Abby M.: Yeah, I believe my grandparents have "The Boy" and "The Girl" on theirs. It's cool....
    • asdf: Actually, "Mother" "father" markers are fairly common in U.S. cemetaries, especially older graves....
  • On trivia Spike's journey:
    • asdf: Maybe he had Anya teleport him there....
  • On trivia Oz or Jenny?:
    • Abby M.: Even though I am all about Jenny not dieing, having Oz being killed would have made the impact of "Evil Angelus" less. Like TwoToGo-Grave said, if Oz was in werewolf mode, Angelus/Angel wouldn't have been responcible for Oz's death anyway. Plus, if Oz had been killed in Passion we would have lost that interesting love triangle between Oz/Willow/Tara in season 4....
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Well, they could of had it so that when Angel was chasing Jenny, Oz in werewolf mode bursts in through the window, attack Angel then die in the fight giving Jenny enough time to escape. Don’t think it would of had the same impact though. The worst part is that then Angel wouldn't have been responsible (making him not villianous, like in season four of 'Angel') since he would have just killed a werewolf that he couldn't have known was Oz. Of course, had they chosen to kill Oz, I am sure that the writers wouldn't have made him a...
    • beagle: I believe the decision that Ms. Hannigan was referring to occurred before the episode was written....
    • ant4buffy: I don't think it was originally supposed to be Oz being killed. Giles wouldn't have the same "Passion" as he did and I don't see Willow attacking Angelus at the Factory....
  • On trivia Buffy's moving door:
    • blutortu: Oh, yeah. Flipping the frames is pretty typical. Also, I imagine the Summers house has gone through a few front doors in seven seasons. They've certainly replaced the windows, the back door jamb, the living room furniture, the basement windows, et al ad nauseum often enough....
    • beagle: Yes, I know there is a scene in S6 or S7 where Spike is getting on his motorcycle. If you look closely you can see the logo is backwards....
    • Janneman: Well actually..the door isn't moving...The only thing they did is flip the shot. This is commonly used in Buffy as I watched the shows. They usually do this when in editing it looks better when they flip the shot. It happens alot..only you can't see it often......
  • On trivia Dawson's Creek:
    • Comfortador: They should do a new buffy the vampire slayer with katie holmes as buffy and tom cruise as the miniature "big bad"...
  • On trivia Michael Jackson:
    • ant4buffy: At what point did Oz sing "Ben"? I don't remember that part. He isn't singing when he goes down the stairs to find Buffy....
  • On trivia Prophetic cheerleaders?:
    • NotFadeAway: I can't believe that, with all the times I've seen that episode, I had never noticed that before. Even though it's nothing but an amusing coincidence, it really is cool....
  • On trivia Angel face:
    • Wynter: The picture was a great touch, I'm in hysterics everytime I see it. I'm going to draw one like it, just for the sake of having one! ...
  • On trivia Jaffa Cakes:
    • Wynter: I also have a weakness for Jaffa Cakes, I'm ashamed to say that I can eat a whole box in one go. Not that I've done that or anything...*shifty eyes* They're so yummy though!...
  • On trivia Andrew's favourite gag:
    • Wynter: I loved this joke, and I laughed everytime it was repeated. It's such a typical Andrew thing to do, and the continuity is nice....
  • On trivia Nathan Fillion:
    • Wynter: Nathan Fillion = legend. He's brilliant!...
  • On trivia Cannibal! The Musical:
    • Kevmaster2000: Yes! I'm so glad this was noticed by someone else! Cannibal! The Musical rules!!! It's Trey's first work as a writer/director/actor/composer. At least, his first publicly released work. And I'm so happy to see that Joss knows about it!...
  • On trivia The Wizard of Oz:
    • Julie: In Grave, when Giles does the binding spell on Willow, she becomes green because of the light and reminds me of the Wicked Witch of the West, who is evil....
  • On trivia Coma Again:
    • Julie: I haven't seen the scene, but it reminds me of Smashed, when Buffy asks Amy how she's been, to which Amy replies "Rat, you?", and Buffy says "Dead"....
  • On trivia The mission's what matters:
    • Wynter: He definitely does say that TwoToGo. I was pretty sure of it but I just watched that scene to make sure because my memory is rubbish. I'm even more convinced though, that Wood's suggestion to test the girls who hadn't yet been in battle was what led to Buffy's decision to confront Caleb in Dirty Girls. Testing the potentials isn't the reason Buffy wants to go back for a second battle in Empty Places, it's the fact that she believes Caleb is hiding something of importance there. ...
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Jess must mean that she planned on sending the group in again (for the 2nd time) in Empty Places. Of course, those words were first uttered in the flashback in LMPTM, and then Buffy uttered those words back to him at the end of that episode. Are we sure that Wood said 'the mission's what matters' after the line that the potentials should be tested, by the way? I don't recall that line....
    • Wynter: Are you sure you don't mean Buffy acts upon his words later on in Dirty Girls? Because that's when she leads them to battle in the vineyard, not in Empty Places....
  • On trivia Pretty mummies:
    • Mullsen: As if that has ever stopped the writers before..... It just seems that they might have had that episode in mind when they thought of that line, is what I meant....
    • ant4buffy: Spike didn't actually fight the mummy. In fact he didn't appear in the episode at all....
  • On trivia Bunnies:
    • ant4buffy: If you read above AnyaRocks put that the speculation was that the bunnies reminded her of Olaf leaving her. This would make sense because she was so angry and upset that she became a demon. Therefore I think Selfless does explain her bunny fear....
    • Julie: Selfless doesn't explain her fear. It only shows that Aud (human Anya back then) and Olaf had bunnies. Anya is holding on when Olaf comes in before they have an argument....
  • On trivia Rack and ruin:
    • Julie: Even with another meaning, I wouldn't call my kid Rack. First, because it's an ugly name, and then because it would remind me of this character, who isn't any prettier than his name....
  • On trivia Anyanka's power centre:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: But it was never that all of her wishes were unrevoked, I didn't think, but rather just the wish for Cordellia. I could be wrong, but I always just assumed that anyway....
    • slayed: Would have been *nice* if they'd kept continuity here and found another device to break up the wedding. Could have been the same demon with the same intent but make up a different reason for him to want to get back at Anyanka than a spell that she'd cast. Hell, make the wronged party more recent, something in the past few years. This was just sloppy. The writers should know and respect the continuity....
  • On trivia Shannon:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Yeah, I was sure that she was stabbed in the stomach as well....
    • Wynter: Faith says something about Shannon being "gutted" which would definitely imply she was stabbed in the stomach. Just rewatched this and I'm pretty sure the knife goes towards the stomach area rather than down towards her leg....
  • On trivia Bye, Dru:
    • Wynter: No she wasn't, it was the real Dru in Lies. Albeit a flashback Dru, but she wasn't The First....
  • On trivia Five by Five:
    • Fenchurch: Five by five means short and fat? Is that how Faith pictures herself?...
  • On trivia Inverted cross:
    • slayed: Would be nice to have a pic of the inverted cross here....
    • slayed: Maybe it was intentional? The episode is about her going thru a rough - if not evil - "bad" spell. Remember? She was a b*tch the whole show - after having been killed by the master. Maybe it's a statement - "I'm Buffy. And I'm bad."...
  • On trivia [3.09-13.58] Anya's necklace:
    • slayed: The reason that Anya gave the amulet to Cordelia is that they needed something to keep the plot moving along. If Giles had not found the amulet on Cordelia, then he would not have been able to tie Cordelia's cryptic remarks back to Anya. I *wish* they'd found another way because giving the amulet away does create inconsistencies. Either that or bother to explain it away later....
  • On trivia Natural sheen:
    • skullcookie: I agree about the curls. Although I don't think there is one scene where I can deny the hottness that is Spike, I have to say that he is at his sexiest at the beginning of season 7, and right before and after he was sired. William was so cute I can't hardly stand it. I even have William as my desktop wallpaper....
  • On trivia Roy Dotrice:
  • On trivia Connor:
    • Kevmaster2000: What a journey Connor had...it's no wonder he was so messed up. I just love the whole Connor storyline! It's so...bizarre....
  • On trivia Shaving and blood:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: Vampires seem to be supernational creatures, so anything that is the case with them can be understood in that it is not understandable (from a scientific, etc. viewpoint). In the mediocre crossover vehicle 'I Will Remember You', Doyle states to Angel that everything feels real, 'because you're real', which can serve as the best example of this notion that I can think of right now. Clearly most of their functions work, or else they couldn't walk or talk, much less have hair grow. Also, I must agree with Cyrax. I have shaved many a time without using a...
  • On trivia Max not David:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: When I first saw it (in rerun), I had obviously never seen Maz Perlich, and I just assumed that it was Seth Green who was doing the talking, so it does make some sense here....
    • bangel: Its funny because I was watching the episode with the subtitles and it says that the voice over is OZ not Whistler!!...
  • On trivia Turok-Han:
    • TwoToGo-Grave: I assumed the in 'Bring on the Night' when that mention is made by Giles, it means that the ubervamps are really old (and pretty stupid as well), and nothing else. It never occurred to me that they were meant to be neanderthals, but only that the line is to show how old (and again, stupid) they are....
    • cyrax037: The turok-han doesn’t share alot of the characteristics of the Neanderthal. It certainly doesn’t share the characteristics of modern humans nor homo erectus or anything prior. It closest resembles the Neanderthal but it has contradictions. They where shorter on average then modern human but where stockier. Something that the Turok-han doesn’t not share. Altho they might be skinnier due to them being held underground for so long without a source of blood. Its probable that the Turok-han was supposed to be Neanderthal but the writers didn't due much research and there are things that aren’t easy to pull off such...
  • On trivia Lilac One:
    • skullcookie: Riley's shirt in this scene was a purplish shade...not quite lilac to me though....
  • On trivia Anastasia Horne:
    • skullcookie: She was also on the Disney Channel show Kids Incorporated, as was Eric Balfour (Jessie)....
  • On trivia Public places:
    • Ebdim9th: I usually post in the forum-part but it's down right now. Anybody know why? My Latin is non-existant, so I'll have to take your word for it. In Room w/a vu there's a bit in the commentary about giving Glenn Quinn a crash course in Latin pronunciation that's kind a amusing coz it breaks it down so simply....
    • Abby M.: You speak latin? That's cool....
  • On trivia Vampires:
    • cyrax037: Yeah I think they tried that based on other vampire lore but they quickly droped it. Probably due to the fan outcry of WTF!...
