The Lei-ach were a family of demons sent by Glory to kill Buffy in Family. They had white and red faces and long, forked tongues. The Scoobies were blinded by a spell placed on them on Tara and were unable to see the Lei-ach to fight them properly until the spell was released.

I always thought their red noses and wild hair made them look kinda clown like. Didn’t make them any less freaky! Their tongues were especially gross.
