I haven’t seen the movie myself, but a Google search indicates that the quote above is wrong. The correct version appears to be “Respect the cock and tame the c**t”. (Sorry, I’m too delicate to type it in full!) The OMWF line makes more sense given this version.

And am I not mistaken in thinking that this line is a repeat of something Xander said in an earlier episode? “Doppelgangland” perhaps?
Anya does say, “It’s still funny” or something like that, right?

Thanks for clearing that up. I have never seen Magnolia and I always wondered what Xander was talking about in that scene. It IS still funny. :)
