In Bring on the Night, Xander suggests they lock the Turok-Han in the pantry, and later says, “Are you saying M. Night Shamalayan lied to us?” He’s referring to the 2002 movie Signs, directed by M. Night Shamalayan. In that movie, an alien is locked in a pantry. |

Also think Sixth Sense (another M. Night Shamalayan movie). In it Bruce Willis’ character goes the entire movie without touching anything. Kind of like Giles, eh?
