Shouldn’t that be “it could have been made into a much better movie in 2003?”
The whole Obi Wan / Skywalker thing with Quatermain and Tom Sawyer made me gag. Quatermain was supposed to be an opium addict…

that movie was abismal. But then i expected as much going in. The nautalis pissed me off and so did the limo drivers line “Call me Ishmale”

I’m a bit afraid what will happen to ‘V for Vendetta’. The graphic novel is brilliant, and I’m not very sure if the atmosphere of it can be translated properly to the big screen. But then again, ‘Sin City’ worked quite well as a movie, so there might be hope….
