In Some Assembly Required, one of the Goofs states: “None of the prints of Cordelia or Buffy in Eric’s montage correspond with the poses the girls made when Eric took the photos.” The poses seem to match to me. Willow is standing holding her science fair clipboard, Buffy is whirling to face the camera just as she was when she walked onto the scene and Eric snapped her photo, and Cordelia is facing the camera walking forwards the way she was when she was exiting the scene and ran right into Eric.

Also, Eric could have taken pictures at a different time we don’t know about.
