I just think he’s calling for help out of instinct, or reflexes, or however you want to put it, but when he does get help, and it’s a girl, he’s embarrassed that he couldn’t handle himself. I think this is supported later in “Superstar” when he makes himself the more important man in the world and a great fighter and such. All in all, he’s just a guy.
