When Buffy tells Tara’s family that “we’re family” in the episode Family, both Joyce and Riley are missing. Both characters left the show later that season. |

It’s not surprising that Joyce is not there, as she’s not really a part of this “family” of scoobies. However, it is surprising that Riley is not in this scene. All that I can think is that Joss Whedon didn’t put him in the shot because of the fact that he was going to be gone in four episodes. Also, I’ve long thought that, had Anthony Stewart Head not left the show in season six, the shot from “Family” would have been in the opening credits the next year. However, I could be wrong about this.

Well Riley also didnt fit the scooby gang to my opinions…
and from the moment I saw Tara in the show I captured her in my heart :D
