Bob was shot dead whilst trying to rob a liquor store, then raised as a zombie eight months later by Jack O’Toole. A fan of Walker, Texas Ranger, Bob was crushed by a drinks machine whilst chasing Xander in The Zeppo.
Bob is played by Michael Cudlitz, who starred along with K. Todd Freeman (Mr Trick) in 1997’s Grosse Pointe Blank, in which Cudlitz’s character was also called Bob. One of the funniest scenes in that film has a dead body with a TV set where its head ought to be, neatly parallelling zombie Bob’s decapitation by vending machine. Homage or coincidence?
