Wouldn’t this be a goof because she wasn’t staked with something wooden? The handel could have been wooden but it’s very unlikely. This ‘only can be staked with something wooden’ was proven when Riley staked Spike with the non-wooden stake and didn’t dust in Into the Woods (I think that is the right episode).

Why is it “unlikely” to be wooden I have a wooden one at home it stops your hand from burning when your using it.

Seems like it could catch on fire I guess. Besides, the spatula in point was not wooden.

The handle of the spatula is wooden, this can be seen most clearly when Cordelia first picks it up. It’s not at all sharp though, so the only way to stake someone with it is through Slayer-strength.

Can someone just make a comment on how pointless that woman and Lyle Gorch are? I mean they put up no sort of fight against the slayer in “bad eggs”. I think if you were going to get a few people together to have a good chance of killing the slayer, wouldnt you get some more bad ass demons instead of thoughs two? Also, I think this episode had the first hint that something such as the Initiative could be alive and well.

Esual, what do you mean that this episode had the first hint that something like the initiative could be alive and well? What are you referring to in the episode? I’m confused. I love good foreshadowing, so clue me in please.
