Changed his mind?

In Innocence, Spike and Drusilla attempt to get rid of humanity by reassembling the Judge. This makes no sense considering that in Becoming (Part 2), he admits to Buffy that he loves the “Happy Meals on legs” in the world.

It wasn’t about liking the world or not, sure Spike likes the world, but he’s crazy in love, so he gives Dru what she wants, because he likes her more. But it’s no longer a gift from Spike to Dru when Angelus shows up, so that won’t fly for Spike; he likes the world way more than he likes the hell brought on thanks to Angelus. My two cents.

yeah, and he’s also has to convince buffy so he could be partly full of shit

What do you mean here? I didn’t understand that comment…
And to me it’s a definite goof. He wanted to destroy the world in “innocence”, and then he completely changed his mind a few eps later. It has always bugged me.
