At the end of Amends, Buffy finds Angel up on the hill above Sunnydale awaiting the sunrise. Buffy begs him to move from this place, to not give in to death. She begs him to hurry, for the sunrise is mere moments away. However, after a dramatic exchange between them, a miracle snowfall, and a walk down from the view back into the main streets of Sunnydale, the sun has still not risen. |

But that’s the point of the episode - Angel is saved by a miracle of heavy snowfall and no sun beams.

Wow I really missed the boat on this one (again!). I never got the connection before now, Jess.
I didn’t think it was possible that the ’snow in Sunnydale’ thing could be any more cheesy. I see now that I was wrong.
