In Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, Amy calls upon Diana, goddess of love and the hunt, for her spell on Cordelia. Diana is the Roman goddess of forests, animals and hunting, but not love. Venus is the Roman goddess of love. This may be a mistake on Amy’s part and it’s probably why the spell went awry. |

i remember a long time ago reading about tutha de diana, something along those lines, who think diana or deena was a celtic goddess… its a stretch could have been what amy was invoking… or me just trying to make excuses for joss… sorry

It’s tuatha de Danaan “people of the goddess Danu” - the Irish gods. Don’t think she’s ever been connected with Diana.
