Character Trivia
Justine

Justine Cooper

Justine’s twin sister Julia was killed by vampires, leaving her to seek vengeance for her loss. She was recruited by Holtz in his war against Angel, and became his right-hand woman, though he treated her roughly. Utterly devoted to Holtz, Justine aided him to kidnap Connor, even slitting Wesley’s throat in the process. She was devastated when Holtz escaped to a hell dimension with Connor without her, but aided him when he returned an old man. On his request she killed Holtz, making it look like a vampire bite, to set up Angel. She helped Connor to send his father to the bottom of the sea, but Wesley forced her to help him to find the vampire.

References

Macbeth

Lilah references Shakespeare’s Macbeth in Dad when she says, “Dusted during childbirth is more like it. According to our sources she staked herself, leaving the baby alive and kicking but never actually born. MacDuff was from his mother’s womb untimely ripped.”
In Shakespeare’s play the three witches’ prophecy read that “…none of woman born shall harm Macbeth.” Macbeth therefore believes that no man can kill him - until he discovered that MacDuff was “from his mother’s womb untimely ripped” (or born via caesarian section) and thus not born naturally.

Quotes

Wesley: Not to mention some bastard's blown a gaping hole in the lift.
Angel: Sorry, my bastard.

Cordelia: You don't have a woman's touch. Whatever your taste in clothing may indicate.

Angel: All right. So we've got a list. All I have to do is erase everyone on it.
Fred: I can do that for you. (begins erasing the writing on the board)

Sahjhan: You know, you throw around a lot of big words, like death and pain and no mercy, but so far I haven't seen bupkis.

Holtz: We can find information with this box, correct? (points to computer)
Sahjhan: Yes, and you won't believe how fast my connection is.

Linwood: Clever loophole. We could use some of those Nyazian scroll writers in Contracts and Negotiations.

Linwood: Now that's a cute little baby. (In a baby-talk voice) Yes you are. And your daddy's a vampire with a soul, and sometimes he reverts to a creature of pure, malevolent evil who could rip your tiny throat out. Yes he does. I like kids. The senior partners took mine before I really got to know them. Turn it up. (The baby starts to cry loudly) Turn it down.

Lorne: Look at him. He's more than a mission, bro. Look at him.

Lilah: How do you know about that?
Gwen: I'm Files and Records. It's my job.

Lilah: That whole thing is Angel's file?
Gwen: Just the first 35 cabinets.

Angel: If he has to get to the hospital at noon on the sunniest day of the year, he'll get there. Even if I don't.

Lilah: This is impossible. 275 years of the most inane... what kind of wussy name is Liam anyway?

Lilah: So what we re dealing with is a single-minded vengeance machine with a blood lust to match. That's just... awesome.

Gunn: What are you doing?
Wesley: Trying to imagine myself as John Wayne in Rio Bravo. You?
Gunn: Austin Stoker. Assault on Precinct 13. (they high five)

Angel: Connor. His name is Connor.

Gunn: I got the best one a very small amount of money could buy.
