technically he reminds her. all she says is have we met? to which he replies “You hit me over the head with and axe once” or something of that nature

Great line for Spike, so matter-of-factly delivered. It introduces the wonderfully sympathetic relationship between Joyce and Mr. Bloody.
Why did they have such an understanding, I wonder?
I also have some vague recollection of a reference to hot cocoa and marshmallows that further establishes their connection. Anybody know what episode from which that might have come?

Hi tadpole, I think this was in Lover’s Walk. Spike’s just been dumped by Dru and needs a bot of mothering.
