David Fury notes in his DVD commentary for this episode that when Robin, Giles and Buffy are talking in the school, Giles’s eyeline does not meet up with Buffy’s, though he is supposed to be looking at her. This occurs as Giles stands near the window.

Willow wears a different outfit to the one she did in the Angel episode ‘Orpheus‘ (in which she left L.A. to return to Sunnydale with Faith). Did she change in the car?

Giles shows Spike the photo of the mission. Spike then leaves straight away, without being told where the mission was.

When she’s in the basement, Kennedy has no scars on her face but when she goes upstairs and talks to Faith, there are some cuts above her left eye.

When Buffy fights Caleb, she gets thrown onto a large cement block. When she gets up you can see the block wobble. It’s clearly not cement.

How does Dawn drive the car so easily from the passenger seat? And how does she drive it anyway? There’s been no indication that she’s able to drive.

Buffy calls the Slayer weapon a scythe, but it’s nothing like a scythe, which has a long, curved blade and is used to cut crops or harvest the bodies of dead people if you’re, you know, Death.

The episode starts as a direct continuation from the previous episode (Empty Places). Anya’s hair was straight then but is curly now. This can be seen in the “previously on Buffy” section. When did she curl it?

When Sunnydale disappears into the crater, we cannot see the sea. Sunnydale has been shown to be on the coast in past episodes (i.e. Surprise, Go Fish, Buffy vs Dracula) and it’s nowhere to be seen.

When Buffy escapes from the building, she is holding the scythe by the top. In the next shot, she’s holding it in the middle.

The Turok-Han seem really easy to kill, all of a sudden. The Scoobies seem to have no problem killing them, though it took Buffy a lot of effort to kill them earlier in the season. Obviously the effort of mass production has forced the First to turn out shoddy goods.

When Vi (the red haired potential) does a massive leap and kicks at a Turok-Han, you can tell that she’s harnessed to a wire as she seems to fly around for a bit afterwards.

Why do Buffy and the potential Slayers go into the Hellmouth before Willow performs her spell? They don’t know if it’ll work. It seems more sensible to wait outside the Hellmouth to see if the spell worked or not.

When Anya is singing and spinning round on Xander’s lap, you can see a circle around the chair which seem to be the tracks where the chair is spun.
