Invisible people

In Out of Mind, Out of Sight, the implication is that Marcie became invisible because of the combination of people ignoring her and the influence of the Hellmouth. But at the end of the episode there are invisible students from other schools. Did those schools have Hellmouths too, or were they just wrong in figuring what made Marcie invisible?

    1. mairceridwen says:

There can be more than one way to become invisible in the buffyverse. Or, they could come from other places that have high levels of demonic activity, but no hellmouth per se, such as Cleveland.

    2. PD says:

Did anyone else see the text in the book Marcie reads at the end of the episode? It looks like the sort of thing that would be in Finnegan’s Wake. Was that on purposee, or were we only supposed to read the title?

    3. Abby M. says:

The entire page Marcie reads is on this site somewhere. It is a combination of a Beatle’s song and some incoherent ramblin’.

    4. superdinosaurboy says:

There was another hellmouth in Cleveland, mairceridwen:

“Buffy lived in Cleveland, Ohio in the alternative universe in The Wish. In Chosen, Giles reveals that there is another Hellmouth in Cleveland in Chosen. “
