 Joyce has a CAT scan (CAT stands for Computed Axial Tomography) in Shadow. She is diagnosed with a low-grade Glioma in the left hemisphere of her brain. This is a tumour of supporting tissue in the brain. They’re slow growing so you can have one for many years without symptoms. |

It’s kind of sad… in a quite weirdly funny way that in the episode “The Freshman” when Willow and Buffy are in the bookstore Buffy says “I can’t wait until mom gets the bills for these books, i hope it’s a funny aneurism

there are several instances like this. Buffy tells Xander that it’s all fun and games until someone looses an eye… and cordelia tells giles, upon finding him knocked out in Gingerbread, that if he’s not careful he’s gonna wake up in a coma. Guess how she dies
