Kalderash was the name of the gypsy tribe that cursed Angelus in 1898. They restored his soul so he would be forced to live with the terrible things he had done as a vampire. Jenny Calendar was a member of the tribe - her real name was Janna Kalderash. There is a real gypsy tribe called Calderasi though they have nothing to do with magic. They earn their existence by making pots and buckets. The word Calderasi comes from the word “bucket” in Romanian which is “caldare”. |
