The song that Willow and Tara dance to at the end of the episode Family is called “I Can’t Take my Eyes Off You” by Canadian singer Melanie Doane. It appears on her 1998 album ‘Adam’s Rib’. The song has a different meaning one would assume. Melanie Doane says on her website: “Sometimes I watch too much T.V. Mostly when I’m lonely. This song, “I Can’t Take my Eyes Off You, is for my special lover, the TV. I wrote it with my friend Kevin who’s also from Halifax and watches too much TV too.” So dear to me I can’t take my eyes off you Nothing ever needs to be said I can’t take my eyes off you So maybe you’re not as real I can’t take my eyes off you |

Okay, the lyrics definetely makes more sense now with knowing that she wrote it for the TV…. But it’s sounds so strange…
